Specializations are a way to customize the abilities and behaviors of your pawns. One of the first ones you’ll get is the Chirurgeon specialization which allows your pawns to use support consumables on you as well as them. Here’s how to give pawns the Chirurgeon Specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
How to Get the Chirurgeon Pawn Specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To give your main pawn the Chirurgeon specialization, you must buy the Fruit Roborant medicine for the little girl in front of the Melve town shop. You can also give one to her if you already have it in your inventory. She’ll thank you and promise a reward once you get to the capital city of Vernworth.
When you reach the capital, it turns out she’s the daughter of Auriol the merchant who can be found at the location above. Talk to Auriol, and he’ll thank you as well and give you a 20% discount on his wares. This is useful for getting a discount on the Ornate Box for the Sven quest. In addition, if you talk to his daughter again, she’ll give you the Chirurgeon Specialization scroll.
For some reason, she didn’t give me the scroll right away, but only a day after I visited them again. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if you actually have to wait a day to get it from her. Either way, all you have to do now is go to your Inventory and use the scroll. Your main pawn will receive the Chirurgeon specialization, and now they can use curative consumables on you and other pawns as opposed to just themselves.
