Stardew Valley features many artisan goods, some of which are easier to craft than others. Depending on the item, it might be possible to purchase these goods as well, particularly from the Traveling Merchant. Since it’s required for the community center bundles, here’s how to make Truffle Oil in Stardew Valley.
Stardew Valley: How to Make Truffle Oil
You can make Truffle Oil by puting Truffle in an Oil Maker to turn it into Truffle Oil. The Oil is used in the artisan bundle for the community center, and it requires a single Truffle to make. Truffles are gathered by raising pigs in your barn and letting them roam outside when it isn’t winter. This way, they dig up Truffles for you to grab.
How to Make an Oil Maker
Depending on how much time you spend farming, you might have access to the Oil Maker before you start gathering Truffles. The Oil Maker crafting recipe is the reward for reaching Level 8 in the farming skill. Then, to craft one, you need x50 Slimes, x20 Hardwood, and a single Gold Bar. Luckily, Slimes are abundant in the mines, Hardwood can be found in the Secret Forest—and respawns there regularly—and a Gold Bar isn’t too hard to craft if you’ve been deep enough in the mines.
Once you have the ingredients, create an Oil Maker, place it, and add a Truffle. It takes a bit to make, but then you receive your oil as an output.
And that’s how to make Truffle Oil in Stardew Valley. While the process itself is straightforward, it takes a chunk of time to unlock everything you need for crafting this oil. However, it lets you start selling Truffle Oil, which sells for over 1,000 gold even without the Artisan perk.
