How to Lower the Elevators in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Your route is missing in two parts of the abandoned mines. To continue forward, you’ll need to move the elevator track to the other side. The track needs some extra weight to get kicked into gear, and then you can press the big red button. Luckily, there are some mine carts sitting around to help you out with this task.

First Elevator Track

All you need to do is move both of the mining carts onto the elevator to give it the right weight. To grab the carts, approach either side of the cart that has handles and press Enter or A on it (a blue arrow will pop up above the side you can grab). Once Nowa has a grip on it, you can push and pull it up or down on the track.

Although both carts need to go on the elevator track, you’ll need to do them in the right order so you don’t block yourself in. So, move the one on the opposite side of the button first. Grab it on the side that’s facing you and pull it onto the elevator until it’s as far as it can go.

Then, walk back to the other cart and grab it by the side facing you. Push it forward onto the elevator so it’s as close to the other cart as possible. Both carts should be on the elevator now, and you should be on the outside of the elevator with clear access to the button. Now, you can press the red button and lower the elevator. The other elevator should raise and allow you to cross over and continue forward.

Second Elevator Track

As you go further into the mines, you’ll encounter another set of elevators. This one will be a bit more complicated than the last one, and that’s because one of the carts doesn’t have a rock in it.

To solve this dilemma, grab onto the empty cart on the side that’s facing you and push it as fast as you can into the rock wall in front of you. This will drop a loose rock down into the cart. Now you have the weight you need, and you can pull it onto the elevator like you did the first time.

After you have the first cart on the elevator, you can grab the other cart and push it forward onto the elevator against the other one. This should be precisely like how you moved the carts the first time. Both carts will be back to back in the middle of the elevator.

With both the carts on the elevator, you’re free to press that big red button again. The elevator will lower and raise another track on the left for you to cross over. You’ll be well on your way through the mine, where you will face Kogen, Zabi, and Yuthus.
