When exploring the different biomes of Core Keeper, you’ll come across an area that is locked behind a music door. To open this door, you’ll need to play music. However, knowing what notes to play can leave you tone-deaf. Here’s how to unlock music doors in Core Keeper by embracing your inner musician!
How to Open the Music Door in Core Keeper
First, to open a Music Door in Core Keeper you’ll need to have a musical instrument equipped. Then, you’ll need to read the notes arranged on a staff like on sheet music. You can unlock the music door and proceed by correctly playing these notes. However, if you don’t know how to read music, don’t worry; we’ve done the work for you!
The notes from lowest to highest correspond to the Q-U keys on your keyboard. There are seven notes on the music door’s staff, including four on the lines and three in the spaces. The notes are as follows, starting from the top of the staff: the 1st line is U, the space between the 1st and 2nd lines is Y, the 2nd line is T, the space between the 2nd and 3rd lines is R, and so on, with the 4th line being Q.
Use the handy chart above to know if you need to play a note lower or higher than the one you just lit up. After pressing the correct note, it will light up on the music door, denoting your success. Keep proceeding through the music staff until all notes are lit up to open the music door in Core Keeper.
You can still get through the music door by brute force if you don’t have a musical instrument. To do this, go to the side of the music door and dig through the walls. If you have enough mining damage, you can access the area locked behind the door without playing the musical notes to open it.
