How to Play Payday 2 With Friends

Whether you are joining for the first time or jumping back in, PayDay 2 is the perfect game to play with friends. Touting itself as a cooperative first-person shooter, now is a great time to rob a few banks, especially since the game recently had a free weekend on Steam. 

While downloading the game will be easy, getting your group together in-game can sometimes prove difficult. Luckily, we are here to help! Read through these easy steps and get started on your co-op shooter extravaganza.

1. Once you have entered crime.net, join a lobby
2. Once you have joined a lobby, you will see a list starting with “Choose New Contract” in the upper right-hand side of your screen. Under the “Edit Game Settings” tab, you can change your settings to make your lobby public, friends only, or private
3. Once you change the settings to your liking, go back to the lobby with the list starting with “Choose New Contract”
4. In this same list, the second to last option is “Invite Friends”, which is right above “Leave This Lobby”. Select “Invite Friends”, and from there, you can invite your friends to join your lobby.
