Raids can be a real pain in Palworld if you’re not prepared. If your defenses aren’t good, you run the risk of your base being completely destroyed. If you fail to defend it, everything ends up on fire. In this guide, I’ll show you how to put out fires in Palworld.
How to Extinguish Base Fires in Palworld
So you failed to protect your base from a Raid and everything’s on fire. I’ve been there. I was in the middle of building my farm and didn’t have any strong Pals around. I put my Steam Deck down and walked away only to come back mid-Raid, and all my hard work literally went down in flames.
To put out fires, you must have Pals that can water in your base. If your base is on fire, they’ll automatically start spraying water to put it out. If you have a water-type Pal in your party, you can also summon them and they’ll help put it out.
Alternatively, if you don’t have any water-type Pals available, you can enter build mode and deconstruct the structures that are on fire. If structures are burnt, you’ll lose all materials that you used. However, if you deconstruct it, all the materials will be returned to you.
How to Prevent Fires
The best way to stop a fire is to prevent them. When I was rebuilding my base, I built it out of as much stone as possible. As you level up your base, you’ll unlock the ability to upgrade to stone instead of wood. I also made sure to keep a water-type Pal in the base at all times in the chance that a fire does start.
That’s how to put out fires in Palworld. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks, check out our growing Palword guides hub for topics like how to level up fast and how to disable raids.
