How to Reach a Cooldown Bonus of -85% with Space Dude in Vampire Survivors

Do not despair, this ain't that tough.

If you’re already scared about the “-85% cooldown,” – don’t be. As always, I’ve got you covered for your Vampire Survivors guide needs. Space Dude is a pretty cool dude, and there’s a way to unlock the Darkana I – Sapphire Mist in a matter of minutes. Here’s how to do it.

How to Unlock Darkana I – Sapphire Mist in Vampire Survivors

Before you can unlock Darkana I – Sapphire Mist, you need to have the Darkasso unlocked. When this requirement is met, you can approach this challenge. If you do not have the Space Dude character unlocked, you need to survive for 20 minutes on the stage called Space 54. Space 54 stage is unlocked by meeting the following criteria.

  • Unlock the Grazia’s Mirror (Inverse Mode Relic). This is the hardest part because you need to have all of the relics in the game that came before it (not something you’ll do in a matter of minutes or hours, so be prepared for days of grinding.)
  • Reach Level 80 on Inverse Inlaid Library with any character you own.
  • Unlock the Astral Stair stage.
  • Pick up five Golden Fingers on the Astral Stair stage.

There are two methods to reach the -85% cooldown bonus with Space Dude that I’ve figured out.

Method 1

Buy an outrageous amount of Golden Eggs so that the cooldown bonus becomes -85%. You can later burn those eggs, or at least reduce your movement speed, to actually be able to play the game because adding tens of thousands of Golden Eggs makes the game unplayable in a way, because you won’t be seeing anything on your screen other than pure damage dealt by your character.

Method 2

Here’s how I actually unlocked Darkana I – Sapphire Mist in a minute:

  • Use the Arcana XX – Silent Old Sanctuary as your first Arcana in the run (you can unlock it by surviving until 31:00 in Dairy Plant). (-40% bonus)
  • If necessary, use the Mindbender (unlocks automatically after you unlock 50 items in the Collection).
  • Make sure that you’ve purchased the -5% Cooldown bonus from the PowerUp menu in the main menu.
  • Choose Inlaid Library as your stage because Empty Tome can be picked up there.
  • Take Empty Tome as a passive ability by choosing it as a level-up bonus, or by walking to pick it up. Max it. (-40% bonus)

If you stay at one weapon with Arcana XX, and max out the Empty Tome passive, you will have exactly -85% cooldown bonus, which you can easily verify by pressing pause. After you verify this, just leave the run, and you will be met with the unlock confirmation.

What Does Darkana I – Sapphire Mist Do in Vampire Survivors

The text of Darkana I – Sapphire Mist is simple: “All weapons have a chance to fire two times instead of one time when activated. The weapons listed in the image have the chance to fire more than twice.” The weapons in question are:

  • Bracelet, Bi-Bracelet, Tri-bracelet
  • Flames of Misspell and Ashes of Musspell
  • Party Pooper
  • Mille Bolle Blu and Boo Roo Boolle
