From Summoning Materia to helpful accessories, Square Enix has included special bonus items to claim in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, if you completed the demo or preordered the game. Here’s how to redeem your FF7 Rebirth demo and preorder rewards.
How to Claim Preorder and Demo Bonus Items in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
When you launch Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, select “Bonus” from the title screen. This brings you to a pop-up that allows you to check the eligible saved data on your PlayStation 5. From here, you can ensure that the game recognizes your demo progress, Remake saved data, or Intermission saved data. If the data is still on your console, you’ll be able to claim your bonus items.
Rebirth‘s demo rewards aren’t available right away, though. You must complete the prologue and Chapter 1: Fall of a Hero, first. Luckily, this goes much quicker if you skip the demo content. Once you leave the Kalm Inn in Chapter 2, you can claim your items by going to the Main Menu and selecting System. Then, choose DLC/Bonuses. This opens a list of additional bonus content currently available to you. Simply press “X” to claim each one, and a green checkmark will appear to show they’ve been acquired.
All Demo and Preorder Bonus Rewards in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Not only do you get the perk of skipping Chapter 1’s Nibelheim flashback, but the demo also grants you two bonus items. And you can get several additional items, depending on which edition of FF7 Rebirth you purchased. Here’s a complete list of all rewards:
FF7 Rebirth Demo Bonus Items
- Kupo Charm: An accessory that increases the number of resource items extracted at a set rate.
- Survival Set: A selection of items to aid on your adventure, such as potions and ethers.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Bonus Item
- Leviathan Summoning Materia: Allows those with FF7 Remake saved data to summon Leviathan.
FF7R Episode Intermission Bonus Item
- Ramuh Summoning Materia: Allows those with Intermission saved data to summon Ramuh.
Digital Deluxe Edition or Digital Deluxe Twin Pack
- Magic Pot Summoning Materia: Summon a group of Moogles that turns any battle into a “kupo-tivating” experience.
- Orchid Bracelet (Grade 2) Armor: A bracelet with two linked and one independent Materia slots.
- Reclaimant Choker Accessory: Restores a small amount of HP upon defeating enemies.
