If you happen to miss an upgrade or a side quest in the many levels of Astor: Blade of the Monolith, you can go back. The game allows you to reload previous levels and find everything you missed. Here’s how to replay levels in Astor: Blade of the Monolith.
How to Reload Levels in Astor: Blade of the Monolith
You unlock the ability to reload levels in Astor: Blade of the Monolith after exploring the Soma Temple and beating the construct boss there. This allows you to teleport back to the Crystal Haven where a Replay Level portal will be waiting for you. It’s right next to the old sage’s house.
To replay a level in Astor: Blade of the Monolith, you need to:
- Go to the Replay Level portal.
- Interact with it.
- Select the level you want to replay.
- Confirm your choice.
This will restart that level with all of your current gear and abilities. You can replay it as if you’re playing it for the first time in terms of cutscene and story but any pick-ups you already found will be missing. This is a great way to go back to previous levels and pick up missed Health and Stamina upgrades as well as runestones. Additionally, you can play any Side Quests you didn’t finish the first time.
Lastly, there’s no way to end that level prematurely as of yet. You’ll have to finish the entire level in order to keep any new collectibles, ability resources, and quests you’ve found. With that in mind, think carefully about the length of the level you want to replay. Also, remember that you sometimes won’t be able to access the entire area of each level the first time you visit it. For example, you’ll have to go back to the Firefly Forest once you find the appropriate weapon to break that massive stone door and finish the entire area.
