If you want to romance a character, you’ll have to build your Bond and Favor with them. There are three ways to do this:
- Give Gifts: When you talk to a character in The Longhouse, you have the option to give them a gift. However, make sure it’s a gift they’ll like, so pay attention to their interests.
- Bond Missions: Some characters will have special side quotes called Bond Missions. Completing these will give you extra story content with the character and increase your Favor with them.
- Conversations: When you’re in a conversation with the character you want to romance, make sure you choose dialogue options that they’ll agree with. If you don’t, you could lose Favor with them.
Once you raise your Favor with a character enough, you can finally romance them. When this level is reached, you have the option to select “Veiled Vow,” which will have you enter a relationship with them.
