As you roam a seemingly bare planet, you often stumble upon spaceship wrecks, and in them, you can often see a Fusion Reactor that’s seemingly functional but has no fuel. Here’s how to start the Fusion Reactor in The Planet Crafter. It will not be easy, I warn you!
How to Activate the Fusion Reactor in The Planet Crafter
You can activate the Fusion Reactor in The Planet Crafter by putting a Fusion Energy Cell in it. After you do that, keep your eyes and ears peeled because a secret door will open in the shipwreck nearby. Behind these doors, there will usually be a lot of end-game resources that you should not miss out on. Make sure to come carrying only food, water and oxygen if you are going alone. You’ll need the inventory space.
How to Craft a Fusion Energy Cell in The Planet Crafter
You can Craft the Fusion Energy Cell in The Planet Crafter by combining these elements in the Advanced Craft Station:
- 3x Pulsar Quartz
- 2x Osmium
- 1x Super Alloy
There’s just one small requirement: You need to have a 45 GTi Terraformation Index. So this is very, very late into the game. If you’re far away from this mark, bookmark this article for later.
How to Raise Your Terraformation Index in The Planet Crafter
Multiple factors impact your Terraformation Index in The Planet Crafter. Increasing the following parameters on the planet will gradually increase your Terraformation Index as well.
- Heat (build heaters)
- Pressure (build machines that drill the ground)
- Oxygen (grow the plants that you find in the wild)
- Biomass (this is unlocked later in the game and sprays grass, flowers, algae, etc.)
That’s all about the Fusion Reaction and Fusion Energy Cell that I’ve got for you. Please check out Planet Crafter Game Hub if you are interested in reading more about the game. We’ve got guides, such as all Warden key locations.
