How to Summon Butterfly in Once Human

Mitsuko will say, “Summon the Butterly. It will fight alongside you” when the Siren appears during the Defend Territory quest in Once Human. However, if you don’t perform two essential steps, you won’t be able to, which could lead to confusion and frustration during the game’s first major battle. Here’s how to summon Butterfly in Once Human to defeat the Siren.

Here’s how to summon Butterfly in Once Human:

1. Place the Butterfly in the Isolated Securement Unit.
2. Interact with the Isolated Securement Unit.
3. Press the Sync to Cradle button to sync the Butterfly with your Cradle.
4. Press the E button to Summon Butterfly.
5. Select the Designated Target option to have the Butterfly attack the Siren.

However, it is essential to note that you must place the Butterfly inside the Isolated Securement Unit, interact with it, and press the Sync to Cradle button. Otherwise, you cannot summon Butterfly in Once Human even if you have the Butterfly in your inventory.

To do so, find the class case inside the house, next to Misuko and V. This is the Isolated Securement Unit. Then, interact with it, and you’ll see a list of Deviations in your backpack. In this case, the only Deviation you have is Butterfly. Press the appropriate button to deposit Butterfly into the Isolated Securement Unit. After that, press the ‘Use Facility’ button to open the menu screen. Finally, look at the bottom right-hand side of the screen for the Sync to Crade button.
