How to Unlock and Evolve Pentagram in Vampire Survivors

These pesky monsters will mostly obey the power of the Pentagram in Vampire Survivors.

When you first encounter Pentagram in Vampire Survivors, you will probably feel that it’s one of the most powerful weapons in the game. And you won’t be wrong. There is a way to evolve Pentagram into Gorgeous Moon, and let me show you how.

How to Get Pentagram in Vampire Survivors

Pentagram is unlocked by surviving 20 minutes with any character on any stage in Vampire Survivors. This may seem tricky and tedious if you are just starting out in Vampire Survivors, but trust me, it’s achievable. I can show you some tips and tricks on how to make this endeavor less frustrating, but in most cases, it comes naturally to players as their powers grow.

How to Survive 20 Minutes in Vampire Survivors

Let’s go over PowerUp bonuses that I feel are the best for your survivability and you should try and purchase prior to your run, in order of importance:

  • Revival (I mean, why wouldn’t you want another life?)
  • Max Health (Gives you more room for errors)
  • Recovery (Gives you a passive regen)
  • Armor (Damage reduction is great)
  • Move Speed (Gives you maneuverability)
  • Might and Cooldown (Offense is the best defense)

The best early-game character for this challenge is Krochi Freetto. You can unlock him by defeating a total of 100,000 enemies across all of your runs. He comes with an additional revival; what more could you ask for? As for the stage, you should take the first stage, Mad Forest, as it’s the easiest.

What Does Pentagram Do in Vampire Survivors?

Pentagram periodically destroys every entity on your screen (some entities are immune). You can increase the frequency of its activities by reducing your cooldown, and as you level Pentagram, you will notice that it will give better chances of items not being destroyed in the process. You can additionally increase the chances of your items on the ground surviving the “blast” from the Pentagram by increasing your Luck.

After unlocking the Pentagram, you’ll be able to get it during your runs as a level-up option. And now, let’s get you that Pentagram evolution, and a new character.

How to Evolve Pentagram into a Gorgeous Moon in Vampire Survivors

You will evolve Pentagram into a Gorgeous Moon by leveling up a Pentagram during your run to its maximum level (8), having at least one level of Crown (a passive ability that grants you bonus XP), and then picking up a Treasure Chest (be careful not to let it get destroyed by Pentagram).

The Gorgeous Moon works in mysterious ways. It charges up slowly, turns stuff around you into XP gems, and then explodes, delivering to you all the XP gems on the screen.

In addition to this, you’ve unlocked a new character, Christine Davain, whose starting weapon is the Pentagram.
