Short Gun is the second weapon you’ll probably want to unlock in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC, and evolving it might be perplexing. However, I’ll give you the formula on how to quickly unlock and evolve Lance Bean’s Short Gun in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC.
How to Get Prototype B in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC
The first part of getting the Prototype B is to have the Short Gun. Short Gun is the starting weapon of Lance Bean. Having it right from the start would be a great bonus. If you want to unlock the Short Gun for all other characters, you have to survive for 15 minutes with Lance Bean at any stage.
If you are a regular Vampire Survivors player, I don’t need to tell you anything. For the newer players, here are some tips regarding power-up investments:
- Make sure to purchase regeneration, health, and armor power-ups for survivability purposes.
- Make sure to also purchase cooldown, damage, and experience power-ups for damage output purposes.
- If you are getting rich in Vampire Survivors, consider purchasing Golden Eggs. They are 10,000 Gold a pop!
- Select Hurry Mode when choosing the map. It makes the time go twice as fast, so you’ll need to survive for 7 minutes and 30 seconds only.
And now, the fun part. You need to get Short Gun to its maximum level (8), have a ready briefcase (Weapon Power-Up pick-up item), and have at least the first level of Bracer. Then, you just need to pick up a Treasure Chest and hope that the RNG favors you.
Short Gun has the following level-up stats:
- Level 2: Shoots two additional bullets.
- Level 3: Increases the Base Damage by 10.
- Level 4: Bullets can pass through one additional enemy.
- Level 5: Shoots two additional bullets.
- Level 6: Increases the Base Damage by 10.
- Level 7: Bullets can pass through one additional enemy.
- Level 8: Increases the Base Damage by 20.
How to Unlock Ariana in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC
As an additional bonus for evolving Short Gun into Prototype B, you can Purchase Ariana, the third character in the Operation Guns DLC. She cost me less than 900 Gold, which is still preposterous, given that I had all other characters obtainable before her, and I expected the price to be heftier.
The unlocking of everything in Vampire Survivors must not stop, so I invite you to check out how to unlock and evolve the Spread Shot, the next weapon in Operation Guns DLC. More of our guide coverage can be found at the Vampire Survivors game hub.
