If you’re not gaining XP points fast enough, or you’re tired of waiting so long to farm food in Soulmask, then there are some ways you can speed up the process. Console commands or cheat codes are a quick and easy way to get what you need or where you want to go instantly. Here’s how to use them.
How to Use Cheat Codes in Soulmask
Before we get into the specifics of how to input codes and what the codes are, you should first note that cheat codes and console commands are only available to a dedicated private server. This requires downloading SteamCMD (this is a risky process with multiple steps, so proceed with caution) and setting up a server with a GM password. Unfortunately, the codes won’t work in regular servers or single-player modes.
Once you have the SteamCMD set up and running, the player creating the private server will then want to ensure they add in a GM key as one of the custom perimeters. You’ll need to enter this password each time you go to use the console command/cheat menu, so try and make it something everyone can remember.
How to Input Cheats/Console Commands in Soulmask
Now that you have the server set up and the GM password key in place, you can join the game and start using some cheats. Your first step will be to open the cheat menu by pressing the ‘~‘ key on your keyboard.
You’ll see a black bar at the bottom of your screen where you can start typing in. First, type in the following to allow the cheat menu to work: gm key (password). Fill in the set password for the parentheses and then press enter.
After you enter the password, you’re free to start using any of the other cheat codes. You’ll enter them in the same cheat box. Here’s a look at all of them available (ensure you replace any parentheses with the value of your choosing).
