Some of the game’s features or settings are hidden away, sort of like its motion blur. The bindings to zoom on keyboard aren’t very obvious, and you have to take some extra steps on a controller. Without further ado, here’s how to zoom the camera in Enshrouded.
How to Zoom the Camera In and Out in Enshrouded
It’s possible to both zoom in and out in Enshrouded, but it’s not possible to zoom in to a point where you’re in first-person view. There is no first-person mode in the game, but you can at least zoom in quite close to your character. You can zoom out decently far as well, though not as far as in many action games.
How to Zoom on Keyboard and Mouse
There are only bindings to zoom on KBM, the game currently does not support controller bindings for camera zooming. You have two binding options by default when using a keyboard and mouse, these are:
- The Page Up and Page Down keys.
- Holding down the Z key and scrolling up or down with the mouse wheel.
How to Zoom the Camera on Controller
As mentioned, there aren’t any button bindings to zoom the camera if you’re using a controller to play Enshrouded. However, that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck. Instead, you have to head into your settings. This is best done while actually in a world, so you can see what the zoom will be like.
- Open the System Menu.
- Navigate to the Game tab.
- Move the Camera Distance bar left or right, to zoom the camera in or out.
And that’s all for how to zoom the camera in Enshrouded, whether you’re using a keyboard and mouse or a controller. It’s a little weird to perform, but everything about this charming co-op survival title is a little weird. That’s part of the charm!
