The biggest addition to Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is the introduction of Merry Magoland, a Mario Party inspired theme park where you can play minigames with NPCs or challenge your friends, and if you’ve heard of Magoland Tours, you may be wondering how to unlock these extra modes.
In Magoland, you’ll earn tickets by playing the minigames (solo or co-op, it doesn’t matter). You can do this by completing the 100 missions by meeting special requirements in the games. Tickets will earn you progress toward unlocking masks that Kirby can wear in levels and during minigames. You’ll also earn masks by defeating bosses.
Once you unlock Magoland, the quickest way to complete the missions and earn tickets is to participate in Merry Magoland Tours. Neither of these features is unlocked by default when you boot up Return to Dream Land Deluxe. First, you’ll have to jump into the story mode for a bit. Here’s how to unlock Merry Magoland and Merry Magoland Tours in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe.
How to Access Merry Magoland Tour
When you reach Stage 2 in Cookie Country, the first level, you’ll unlock Merry Magoland. From there, to unlock the Magoland Tour mode, you need to play four different minigames.
Magoland Tours will let you compete with three other players (either NPCs, human players, or a combination) in a series of four minigames. You must get the most cumulative points to win.
The easiest way to do this is in Magoland, where all the minigames are already unlocked. However, you can also access minigames from the Lor (Magalor’s ship), and playing them here will also count toward unlocking the Magoland Tour option.
And that’s all you have to do to unlock Merry Magoland and Merry Magoland Tour in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. It shouldn’t take very much time at all. For more help with the game, take a look at our other Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe guides.
