Resources are the name of the survival game, and LEGO Fortnite is no different. There are dozens to get your hands on if you want to craft everything. And as expected, sturdier tools and weapons require sturdier materials. Here’s how to get iron.
Where to Find Iron in LEGO Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite takes place in a vast open world, so it’s no surprise that you’ll be hunting high and low for resources. However, some resources like Blastcore and Iron will send you on a wild goose chase. However, I discovered where to get it and have all the details you need here.
You can only get Iron in the Frostlands Ice Caves. You’ll need an Epic Pickaxe to harvest the Iron (x8 Obsidian Slab, x5 Frostpine Rod). Since the resource is only found in the chilly caves, you’ll also need to prepare with some cold resistance. Here’s what you can do to safely explore the caves.
- Craft an Inner Fire Charm.
- x3 Wool Thread
- x5 Cut Ruby
- x8 Brightcore
- x3 Blastcore
- Consume Spicy Peppers from the Dry Valley desert.
I found Iron jutting out from the ceiling of the cave, so you’ll want to come prepared with plenty of wood to build staircases if you can’t find any on the walls or floors. Additionally, I recommended you bring Torches and supplies for Campfires so you can build lighting throughout the Ice Caves.
