Most Valuable Loot in Level Zero Extraction and Where It Spawns

They say one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. Well, in Level Zero Extraction, everything’s a treasure, you just have to know where to find it. That’s why, today, we’ll be looking at what the most valuable loot in Level Zero Extraction is and where you can find it.

The Most Valuable Loot in Level Zero Extraction: A Quick Overview

Level Zero Extraction’s loot system is very similar to other extraction shooters of its type. In short, if it looks like it can be picked up— it can be picked up. The question then is how to be efficient with what you pick up so as to not overburden your already limited backpack space. The answer, go for the following items exclusively:

• Jewelry
• Weaponry
• Money
• Perks
• Weapon Components
• Part Components
• Unique Items

While it might be tempting to pick everything up as you find it, that habit will ultimately be to your detriment. Stick to only picking up the items mentioned above and pick up other essentials (ammo, medicine) as needed.

Research Facility – Best Loot Areas

The Research Facility map has two levels to it and a couple of key loot areas. The problem with this map is that it’s designed to be like a maze, but once you learn where everything is navigation should become a whole lot easier.

The Storage Room in Sector B is arguably the most lucrative area on this map, as it’s tucked away in a corner that people rarely visit and it has a guaranteed loot crate that spawns in it. The Storage Room is the rectangle-shaped area at the bottom right of the map. To get to it, either approach it from the Generator Room in Sector C or from the Plant Lab between Sectors B and C. Beware of the NPC monsters guarding it.

On the opposite side lies the Frozen Plateau with the other loot crate. This is the second-most lucrative area and also the most dangerous one. The loot crate in this area isn’t guaranteed as it’s on a timer. What’s more, because it’s in an open space, danger lies at every corner. Only go for this area if you spawn near it and don’t expect the competition to show up.

The Armory is another good loot spot for acquiring guns, although unfortunately, that’s about the only thing that spawns there. For this area, it’s best to sequence it with other areas. Going Plant Lab, Security Room B, then Armory is a good strategy if you’re coming from Level 0. If you’re coming from Level 1, don’t bother sequencing it and head straight to the Security Room and Armory.

Caves of Turion – Best Loot Areas

Caves of Turion is the latest map in Level Zero Extraction, and just like the Research Facility, it’s also a maze. Unlike the Research Facility, Caves of Turion has one telling principle that you can use to identify where the best loot spots are. Look at all the areas on the map that look excavated and are in “unnatural” shapes. Those are research facilities and they usually have a few lucrative goods lying around.

In my experience, these are the most lucrative areas on this map:

• The lower segment of the central area
• The upper left corner of the map (Between Sector C & B)
• The cavern on the top right (Sector C)
• The bottom left area with the corridors (Below Sector B)

According to the developer’s Reddit post, Caves of Therion allegedly has three hidden stashes that can be accessed via keycard. It’s still unclear where those stashes are though, and how to get the keycards for them. If your goal is to make money fast in Level Zero Extraction, stick to playing Research Facility as that’s the more lucrative map.
