Similar to Steel Ingot, Bronze Ingot can only be smelted at a Great Forge in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria. Needed to craft tier three weapons and armor, this is how to get Bronze Ingot in Return to Moria.
How to Get Bronze Ingot in LotR: Return to Moria
Bronze Bars are a mix of two different ores: Tin and Copper. Copper is relatively easy to find around the Elven Quarter, as well as the top sections of the Western Mines. It has a bright red hue mixed with green which stands out against the rock it’s found with.
How to Get Tin
Tin is harder to find. The ore is silver with splotches of red mixed in, but I find it can easily be mistaken for Iron Ore. There are a few single rock spots that contain tin towards the top of the mine, near where you first come across Khuzdul Oat.
Larger deposits can be found farther down the mineshafts, but those tunnels are dark and filled with Orcs. Fighting them with steel weapons is a difficult endeavor, and surviving a hoard is almost impossible. Grabbing the available tin and bringing it back to make more advanced weapons is a sound plan for survivability.
Bronze Ingot Recipe
To smelt a Bronze Ingot you’ll need:
- Copper Ore x3
- Tin Ore x3
To fuel the furnace you’ll also need coal. A single bar takes 45 seconds to complete. Just a couple pieces of Bronze Ingot will get you a unique spear from the Great Forge, which is effective against single targets and deals more damage than the steel sword. If you learned the recipe, you can also craft Elven Arrows which are effective at taking out spiders and weakening Orcs from afar.
