You’ll certainly obtain a lot of loot in Lords of the Fallen, and a few are really integral to survival. One, in particular, offers amazing resistances against two damage types. Our guide discusses how to get the Cursed Armor Set in Lords of the Fallen, which helps mitigate both physical and wither damage.
How to Get the Cursed Armor Set in Lords of the Fallen
The Cursed Armor Set can be found in the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, also known as the Leprosarium zone. The way to get there, however, isn’t as obvious at first. Here’s a quick summary:
- You’ll have to purchase the Pilgrim’s Perch Key from Captain Stomund for 9,500 Vigor. I advise you not to do this early in the campaign since you’re better off spending your vigor on stat boosts.
- When you do think that you’re ready, buy the key and unlock the large doorway near the Bellroom vestige waypoint. Proceed to the upper section of Pilgrim’s Perch and defeat the Sacred Resonance of Tenacity.
- Keep going to the top of the cliffside area until you ride a lift that takes you to the manse’s exterior. Once there, you need to destroy an Umbral Entity barring the way by pulling a couple of tortured souls in the area.
- Continue to the opposite side while in the Umbral Realm and you’ll see a tortured soul with a loot orb. Pull it to obtain the armor set, but beware of reaper creatures nearby.
Cursed Armor Set Stats and Resistances
The Lords of the Fallen Cursed Armor Set consists of the following: Helm, Armor, Gauntlets, and Leggings. If you wear all the gear pieces, you’ll gain the following stats:
- Defenses: Physical 560, Holy 216, Fire 219, and Wither 417.
- Resistances: Smite 101, Bleed 149, Burn 149, Ignite 101, Frostbite 270, and Poison 256.
I feel that the Cursed Armor Set is one of the best in the game in terms of overall stats. It grants high physical and wither defense stats, and bonus resistance against both frostbite and poison. I usually equip it when I have to battle foes that cause wither damage or the frostbite status effect, such as the Mendacious Visage. I also encourage you to mix and match so you can come up with the best combination for your character.
