One of the best ways to destroy the competition in Marvel Snap is to destroy yourself. Which is to say that the all-powerful destroy deck can still be pretty effective in this multiplayer card battler. By implementing cards that destroy others alongside ones that give boosts upon getting destroyed, you can make a top tier deck in Marvel Snap.
The cards you will want to use in your Destroy Deck come from all three pools of collection level. However, they are mostly fairly common cards if you’ve put in the time. Here are the top tier lists of the best Destroy cards in Marvel Snap.
Destroy Deck S-Tier Cards
Venom
- Collection: Pool 3
- Ability: On Reveal: Destroy your other cards at this location. Add their Power to this card.
Venom gains the power of all the other cards at a location while also making room for others. It is a vital card for destroy decks, and is essentially a more expensive, more powered up version of Carnage. Using Venom on turn 6 after a card like Red Skull is just one of many unconventional ways to put the card to use.
Death
- Collection: Pool 3
- Ability: Costs 1 less for each card destroyed this game.
If you play your cards right, Death can be a huge bonus at the end of the game. By destroying enough cards to get Death down to 1 or 2 cost, you can play two heavy hitters in your final turn instead of just one.
Carnage
- Collection: Pool 1
- Ability: On Reveal: Destroy your other cards here. +2 Power for each destroyed.
Carnage is a great destroy card to whip out on any turn. Its best to play Carnage at a location where you have weaker cards that benefit you to be destroyed — especially Nova and Bucky Barnes.
Destroy Deck A-Tier Cards
Bucky Barnes
- Collection: Pool 2
- Ability: When this is destroyed, create the Winter Soldier in its place.
Bucky Barnes is a great play. Whether destroyed by you or your opponent, the result is always the same. For just two cost, you will invest in bringing out the powerful Winter Soldier.
Sabretooth
- Collection: Pool 2
- Ability: When this is destroyed, return it to your hand. It costs 0.
Sabretooth is a decent card on its own, boasting 4 power for 3 cost. But considering the fact it comes back to your hand and becomes free to to play whenever it is destroyed, Sabretooth is basically an indestructible card.
Wolverine
- Collection: Pool 1
- Ability: When this is discarded or destroyed, regenerate it at a random location with +2 Power.
After the most recent patches, Wolverine got a huge buff. This pool 1 card became a vibranium backbone of destroy decks everywhere again. Now, every time Wolverine gets destroyed he becomes stronger.
Destroy Deck B-Tier Cards
Nova
- Collection: Pool 1
- Ability: When this is destroyed, give your cards +1 Power.
Nova was recently nerfed and we can’t help but admit this card has gone down in the rankings. Still, it is one of the better one-cost options for a standard Destroy deck.
Deathlok
- Collection: Pool 1
- Ability: On Reveal: Destroy your other cards at this location.
Deathlok is a powerful 3-cost that is another great option for activating you cards like Nova, Bucky, and Wolverine. You’ll want to throw this one in as well.
