How to Complete Trial Chambers in Minecraft
How to Activate Trial Chambers in Snapshot 23W45A
Currently, Trial Chambers are’t generated in the vanilla version of the game but only as an experimental feature, which you need to activate by following these steps:
- Launch Minecraft (Snapshot 23W45A).
- Press “Play” button.
- Select “Create New World” option.
- Go to “Experiments” tab.
- Toggle “Minecraft 1.21 Features” option.
How to Complete Trial Chambers in Snapshot 23W45A
Once activated, Trial Chambers usually generate between the Y-coordinates -20 and -40. If you don’t want to look for one, use the -38053120285045769 seed, where I found my Trial Chamber at coordinates X: -152 Z: 168.
Although all Trial Chambers generate randomly, like all other structures in Minecraft, their architectural design will always have the same basic elements. If you want to complete the Trial Chambers, follow these steps:
- The entrance usually features an oak tree with a few chests and no other elements.
- Then, follow into the three-story hall with Trial Spawners and Tripwires, so be extra careful.
- The next room after the hall contains four beds, where you can save and set a spawn point.
- From there you can either enter a Combat Chamber or another hall with a bridge, which leads to a different Combat Chamber.
- It’s also possible that both halls may contain additional Combat Chambers attached to them on the sides.
That’s a basic breakdown of a Trial Chamber in Snapshot 23W45A. Most of the rewards come from the Combat Chambers, which may contain various challenges that I listed below for your convenience:
- Square Chamber with a platform, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Dispensers
- Various Obstacles
- Combat Chamber with a central pillar, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Copper Grates
- Tuff Bricks
- Round Chamber with magma blocks, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Dispensers
- Water Buckets
- Wide Chamber with an increasing floor, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Narrow Chamber with three ledges, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Copper Trapdoors
- Combat Chamber with a spiral staircase, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Copper Grates
- Small Chamber with wide bridges, containing:
- Trial Spawners
- Copper Grates
Note that Trial Spawners remain inactive if you don’t approach them as close as 14 blocks. But once you’ve crossed that threshold, they’ll spawn a random hostile mod that you need to defeat. Once defeated, you’ll be rewarded with one of the random items, which I listed below.
