Moonstone Island is a new creature-collecting game that brings you to enchanting sky islands. However, no land connects them, so you’ll need to create a way to get around. How to Make a Balloon in Moonstone Island

After you arrive on Moonstone Island, you’ll soon learn there are other nearby floating archipelagos to explore. However, you’ll need to craft a new way to get to them since you crash-landed and broke your flying broomstick. The Balloon is the first travel method you unlock in Moonstone Island, and I highly recommend crafting one as soon as you can so that you can access resources and spirits from other islands. Here’s how to craft a Balloon in Moonstone Island.

• Equip your Scythe from your Tool Wheel.
• Select the Scythe by going to it in your primary inventory.
• Harvest x9 Fibre (tall grass) with Scythe.
• Open your menu and select the Crafting Menu (axe icon).
• Select the Cloth and craft x3 Cloth.
• Select the Balloon and craft x1 Balloon.

How to Use a Balloon in Moonstone Island

To use a balloon in Moonstone Island, place it in a primary tool wheel slot. You can rearrange your tools from the tool wheel. I swapped out my Medallion for my Balloon. Then, head to the edge of an island with the Balloon equipped. Once you’re there, use E on the keyboard or X on Xbox or Square on PlayStation to use it.

The Balloon will inflate, and you’ll float towards the direction of the wind. You can steer the Balloon slightly, but I recommend that you launch from the direction you want to head in. You’ll encounter resistance from the wind.
