Purchasing Them

The primary method of acquiring Dragon Krystals is to purchase them. Heading onto the Store menu will show bundles of Dragon Krystals and a link to your platform’s store. The prices for each bundle are as follows:

AmountPrice
500 Dragon Krystals$4.99
1250 Dragon Krystals$9.99
2700 Dragon Krystals$19.99
5900 Dragon Krystals$39.99

Buying the Premium Edition

If you bought the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition for Early Access and/or the future Kombat Pack fighters, then you’ll have also received some Dragon Krystals with it. To be more precise, it provides you with 1,250 Dragon Krystals. That equates to the same amount that $9.99 will get you.

Beating the Campaign

Although both of the prior options require you to pay a little extra money, you can get some Dragon Krystals at the end of the campaign. The rewards for beating the final battle include a locked character, a stage, some gear, and 500 of the premium currency. Compared to the bundles you can buy, that’s equal to $4.99.

This premium currency is used to unlock premium items in the Store menu. They include gear, palettes, and easy fatality tokens. These items rotate on a daily basis, so there’s certainly more of an urgency to buy them. They’re not cheap, though, as simple gear items cost 300 of the currency and palettes cost 800. If you want something unique like a Dia de Muertos Sub-Zero skin, you’ll need to use some real money.
