Invasions

The best way to earn Seasonal Kredits is by playing through Invasions. This currency can be found everywhere in the mode. Not only can they be earned from the occasional battle, but various treasure chests typically have it as well.

I had a lot of luck gathering these by challenging towers. In addition to other rewards, including some other currencies like Koins and Krowns, many of my tower victories resulted in a nice 100 Kredits. It feels very efficient as you can increase your character ranks at the same time and unlock fighter mastery rewards such as MK1 brutalities.

Daily and Weekly Quests

Seasonal Kredits can also be earned by completing various daily and weekly quests. A completed daily quest offers 25 seasonal kredits, while a completed weekly quest will reward you with 250 seasonal kredits.

The best part of these is that they stretch across all modes. There can be generic objectives, such as landing 50 uppercuts in any mode or something Kombat League-specific. From what we’ve seen, a lot of them seem easy to earn just from naturally playing.

You’ll use this currency to unlock Seasonal Items in the Store menu. These special gear and palette items are based on the theme and current boss character in Invasions mode. For example, since Scorpion is the focus for Season 1: The Spectre, all of the gear follows a fire theme.

There are quite a few different prices for the seasonal items and some characters have more options than others. From what we’ve seen, it’s essentially different gear, colors for palettes, and sometimes a more detailed and fancy-looking color for those palettes. Here is how much of the currency you’ll need for each item:

Color for Alternate Palette1,500
Detailed Color for Base Palette4,000
