This question has popped up several times since its release. And I understand the appeal of wanting to play a new game with friends. When Will Custom Matchmaking Be Added?

The day one patch notes specifically mention that online custom matchmaking will be added later. But it doesn’t mention how long we’ll be waiting for this specific feature to make it into the game. I understand that there must be plenty of players who got the game to play with friends or in the PvP mode in general. So, the lack of custom matchmaking and the issues with crashes, frame rate drops, and being put on the wrong region’s servers are all the more frustrating in those cases. But in this case, we at least know that the developers plan to add custom matchmaking.
