All Gifted Recipes in Palia

At the beginning of the game, when you’re just learning how to use your Cooking skill, Auni points you to Reth. He’s the head of the Cooking Guild and can be found at the Ormuu’s Horn tavern or in the premium clothing store.

In addition to leveling your skill, Cooking quests can help you increase your Friendship level with Reth. I finished all my cooking quests ASAP as I wanted to romance the bad boy chef right away. Speaking with Reth the first time gives you the Grilled Mushroom recipe.

The day after you tell him you made Grilled Mushrooms, he’ll send you three more recipes through the mail. This kicks off your collection quest for Palia recipes. You’ll get Grilled Meat, Fish, and Oyster from him.

While not a gift per se, completing the Vault of Waves Freshwater Bundle rewards you with the Bouillabaisse recipe. Completing the Vault of the Flames Sear-Chef Bundle rewards you with Spicy Rice Cakes.

Every Recipe You Can Buy at the Cooking Guild

To buy recipes in Palia, you have to reach Cooking Level 2. This unlocks Reth’s Cooking Guild store. Interacting with him allows you to bring up the store, which features the main bulk of recipes currently available.

All Palia Recipes You Can Get While Fishing

There are a few Palia recipes that can be fished up. They reel in like any other item you can catch, with the paper in a bottle. I had the hardest time hooking the Sushi recipe, but I got Fish Stew and Sashimi pretty easily.

  • Sashimi: Fish in Bahari Bay rivers with no bait.
  • Fish Stew: Fish on the Bahari Bay Coast with a worm.
  • Sushi: Fish in any pond with a glow worm.

That’s how to get all the recipes in Palia. If you’re struggling with cooking, how to catch fish, or who you can romance, take a look at our Palia guide vault. We’ve got skill walkthroughs, what villagers likes are, and more.
