Palworld: How to Get the Grappling Gun

Traveling in Palworld can be difficult sometimes, especially if you don’t have a lot of stamina. Whether it’s trying to get across a gap or climbing up  a cliffside, it’s a pain. Luckily there’s a tool to help. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get the Grappling Gun. 

How to Get the Grappling Gun in Palworld 

Before you can craft the Grappling Gun, you’ll need to get to level 12 first. You’ll also need to spend 1 Ancient Technology Point to unlock the recipe. To make the Grappling Gun you’ll need the following: 

• Fiber x30 
• Paldium Fragments x10
• Ingots x10
• Ancient Civilization Parts x1

Ingots and Ancient Civilization Parts are a little hard to come by so here’s a quick rundown on how to get them:

• Ingots – Require Ore and a Primitive Furnace 
• Ancient Civilization Parts – Dropped by defeated bosses but aren’t guaranteed

How to Use the Grappling Gun in Palworld 

Once you’ve made the Grappling Gun all you have to do is equip it. Now you can aim it like a gun at any surface and you’ll zip right towards it. This is perfect for going across gaps or scaling up a cliffside. It can also be used on other structures like buildings or ruins that you’ll find around the world.

My favorite use for the Grappling Gun is climbing up tall mountains or cliffs. This makes it easy to cut through places without having to go the long way. Traversal will become much easier an quicker. I recommend waiting to explore further away until you get the Grappling Gun – you’ll thank me later.
