Payday 3: Insurance Policy Trophy and Achievement Guide

You'll need some help for this Payday 3 trophy and achievement. Here's how to complete Insurance Policy

As in the previous entry, Payday 3 has some trophies and achievements requiring multiple players to work together toward a unique goal. A great example of this is one that takes place in Touch the Sky and requires four players. Here are our tips for completing the Insurance Policy trophy and achievement in Payday 3.

How to Unlock the Insurance Policy Trophy and Achievement

To unlock the Insurance Policy trophy and achievement, you must complete the Touch the Sky heist with four active human shields on Hard or above. Since this requires human shields and not hostages, there’s no way to unlock this with fewer than four players. After accomplishing the heist’s objectives, every player must drag a hostage to the escape zone in the elevator.

Payday 3 Insurance Policy Tips

To guide you in the right direction, we’ve come up with a list of pointers to help with this trophy/achievement. Keep the following in mind, and remember to have patience!

Attempt It During a Stealth Run

The Insurance Policy trophy/achievement is a lot easier to do in a stealth run, so I suggest keeping things quiet. If things go loud, it’s best to just restart the heist. Handling hostages and waves of police isn’t easy.

If you still want to try it out loud or are close enough to finish the heist, tie them up fast and try to hole them up in the first-floor bathroom. One player can keep guard to make sure no hostage rescue units reach them while the rest finish the heist. Try to time it so that you call for Bile right as one assault wave ends. This should make transferring them outside during the final charge a bit easier.

Use the Front Door Guard as a Human Shield

You’ll be encountering him anyway, so you might as well grab him instead of trying to carry four civilians past. Activate the nearby lure to make him approach it and then take him as a shield. There’s no need to tie him up, just grab him from behind and then carry him to the elevator.

Don’t forget that you can’t have a human shield and be carrying something at the same time. Whoever is carrying the server must drop it at the elevator and then take their human shield along.

Bring Some ECM Jammers

A couple of ECM Jammers are a great safety net in case something goes wrong near the end of the heist. Nothing feels worse than running out of pagers early or alerting a guard when they’re already in the Searching phase. Since they can stack, two ECM Jammers could be enough to cover you in case a quick dash to the elevator is needed.

Bring Hacker Skills

The cameras can be a real pain in this heist, making the Insurance Policy trophy and achievement harder to get. It helps to be able to hack them. Not only can you allow safe passage for your teammates, but you can also take care of some pesky guards easier, too. These are some of the best Stealth build skills, so it should come as no surprise that they’re helpful here.

Attempt Insurance Policy on Hard

Unless you’re trying to get some difficulty-related challenges out of the way at the same time, do this on Hard. There’s really no reason to do this on higher difficulties that can add modifiers. Another benefit of doing this on Hard is that you’ll have four pager calls before they send someone to search. Don’t make getting Insurance Policy harder than it should be.

Find a Group

Just like any trophy/achievement that can’t be completed on your own, it helps to do this with a preset group. Whether it’s friends or people you’ve met online aiming to knock this off their list, a solid group works best. This rings especially true if they don’t mind selecting the heist over and over again until RNG placement is optimal.

This can be done with randoms, but it’s difficult to get a bunch of random people to accomplish this objective. If you are looking to accomplish it this way, we definitely recommend playing it on Hard.

That’s how to get the Payday 3 Insurance Policy trophy and achievement. For other achievement tips and stealth tricks, including the highly difficult Spec Ops, check out our PD3 guides hub.
