The official PC requirements and specs for Red Dead Redemption 2 have been released. The information comes from the game’s page on the Rockstar Launcher.
For anyone that’s remotely familiar with PC gaming, the requirements and specs below aren’t surprising. They run in line with what we’ve come to expect of games in this generation.
Of course, it’s worth noting that these recommendations aren’t necessarily for playing the game in 2K or 4K. Rather, they are for running the game at 1080p 30fps and 1080p 60fps, respectively.

After months and months of rumors, Red Dead Redemption 2 was officially announced for the PC last week. One of the worst-kept secrets in gaming, it’s reveal was nonetheless greeted with wild excitement across the gaming world.
In the hours following the announcement, Twitter exploded with users saying they would finally be jumping in for the first. Nearly as many legacy players said they would be purchasing the game again on PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PC is set to launch on November 5. The game is currently up for pre-order on the Rockstar Launcher. The game will not launch on Steam until sometime in December. Pre-orders for other launchers and storefronts such as Epic Games and GameStop will go live on October 23.
