Remnant 2: How to Get Fruit of Death

The Fruit of Death is one of many hidden items with secret mechanics in Remnant 2. While getting it is easy enough by this game’s standards, finding out where you use it can be a bit of a head-scratcher. You might run across it on your first playthrough, depending on your choices and the boss order the game gives you. Or you might need to load up an Adventure and do some hunting. Whatever your situation, here’s how to get the Fruit of Death in Remnant 2.

How to Get the Fruit of Death in Remnant 2

To get the Fruit of Death in Remnant 2, kill the Red Doe on Yaesha when asked to by the Corrupted Ravager, get the Ravager’s Amulet, find the statue of the Doe and Ravager fighting in the Forbidden Grove, follow the path under the statue to the end.

If you don’t get the Ravager version of Yaesha, reroll in Adventure Mode until you get the Forbidden Grove starting area. You’ll need to solve the Water Harp puzzle to get to the Ravager’s lair, but once you kill the Doe, you’ll get the Ravager’s Amulet.

With the Amulet in your inventory, fast travel back to the Forbidden Grove’s initial checkpoint and go down to the first large platform. There, you’ll see a statue of the Ravager and Doe fighting. Approaching the statue with the Amulet equipped will cause a pathway beneath the statue to appear, and at its end is the Fruit of Death.

How to Use the Fruit of Death in Remnant 2

You can use the Fruit of Death the moment you get it by consuming it in your inventory. You will, of course, immediately die. However, the Fruit won’t be consumed. Instead, you can use it twice more to transform it from a deadly but otherwise useless item into the Lifeless Heart, a Relic that heals 30 damage over half a second by default but doubles your Relic capacity when equipped.
