Finding all the treasures in the Resident Evil 4 remake is mandatory for achievement hunters and those trying to save up the Pesetas to get the Infinite Rocket Launcher. In this guide we’ll go over all 24 island treasure locations in the RE4 remake.
RE4 Remake All Island Treasure Locations
Chapter 13 Treasures
Before you go out scouring every inch of the island, make a quick trip to the Merchant. You’ll end up running right past him to move the turret that is blocking your path at the start of Chapter 13.
As with the Village and Castle, he’ll be selling a Treasure Map just for the Island area. Buying this will mark all 24 treasures on your map and add a counter to the bottom right of the map screen.
The first treasure we’ll be going for is in the middle of the Wharf area, where a red chest is under the watchful eye of a nearby turret.
Jump through the window in front of you and take a left. Circle around the large barrier and you’ll find the controls for the turret. Press the button to move it so you can open the chest and receive a Pearl Bangle.
Second is a blue chest on the higher level in the caves. You’ll be able to access it right before you encounter the first rocket launcher soldier.
Move through the back of the caves until you find some rocks next to a red barrel. Shoot the barrel to clear the rocks and find a chest containing a Golden Lynx inside.
Third is in a skippable area with red shipping containers and three soldiers, one of whom has a rocket launcher. Take care of them and open the red chest in the southern part of the area to find an Elegant Crown.
Fourth comes soon after in the Surveillance area. A silver briefcase can be found on the right side in the first room, holding a Velvet Blue.
Fifth is after working your way through the Utilities area. In the same room where a man on fire will run at you, turn left and find another silver briefcase carrying a Velvet Blue.
The next few will be in the area where you first come across a Regenerador. After restoring the power to open the Dissection room, head over and open the door to the left. Break the glass cabinets in the back to find the sixth treasure: a Red Beryl.
Seventh comes after obtaining the Level 1 Keycard. Exit the Dissection Room, juke the Regenerador, and head into the red-lit room behind it. Break the glass cabinet in the back to find a Gold Ingot.
Eighth is the first to not be a sellable treasure. On the right side of the Freezer room is an Electronic Lock Terminal. Solve it to open a small room with a LE 5 submachine gun.
Ninth is a treasure you’ll need to advance the story. In the back of the Incubation Lab in an open briefcase is the Biosensor Scope.
Chapter 14 Treasures
The tenth treasure is found in the first room of Chapter 14, a.k.a. the Holding Cell. Look right and head over to the corner to find a Crystal Ore on a dolly.
The eleventh is a bit confusing at first because contrary to what the map seems to imply, it’s not on the same level as you. After passing the Merchant and entering the Cargo Depot area, take a few steps forward and look up. A hanging container with an Alexandrite can be shot down.
Twelfth is very close by. Right after you jump down and walk into this underground part of the Depot, a trash bin on the left can be opened and a Gold Bangle will be found inside.
Next is within the Facility 2 area. Run to the locked door at the end of the hall and turn around to find another hanging container. Inside is the thirteenth treasure: a Velvet Blue.
Fourteenth is at the beginning of the sewage area / Waste Disposal where you have to crouch under the pipes. Move underneath them and keep the left side to find an Emerald in the back.
Fifteenth is deeper into Waste Disposal. After moving past the bridge that Ashley keeps up, you’ll find a control room with a briefcase and an Ornate Necklace inside.
Sixteenth is in the Amber Storeroom. Ignore the large Amber for now and head to the back of the room. Sitting on a crate is a Crystal Ore.
Seventeeth is found soon after in the middle of the Campsite. Inside the first tent is a red chest and a Gold Bar (L).
Chapter 15 Treasures
The eighteenth treasure and the first for Chapter 15 is in the same area where you meet Mike. Circle the back of the building and look past the ladder. A hanging container can be shot down for a Red Beryl.
Nineteenth is in the middle of the Stronghold area. After coming across a fence that requires you to climb a ladder, look up to find another hanging container. This one has a Velvet Blue inside.
Twentieth is found in Cliffside Ruins. After Mike’s last cutscene, rush forward and use the ladder to climb down. Run through and you’ll find a lonesome chest holding the unique Staff of Royalty treasure.
The twenty-first treasure is in Specimen Storage. Instead of moving through and turning the crank to open the door, check out the small side room. A red chest will have a Splendid Bangle inside.
Chapter 16 Treasures
Right outside of Luis’ Laboratory will be a ladder that Ashley can knock down. Climb the ladder and a hanging container with a Blue Velvet inside will be found over the bridge.
When you make your way through the Sanctuary, the path will split into two. Crouch under the pillar on the left and make your way to where you saved Ashley. The stone in the back has a unique Iluminados Pendant on it.
The final treasure will be found next to the final Merchant shop right before the Loading Docks. On the floor will be a red chest with a final Gold Ingot.
Follow all of these and you’ll have collected all 24 island treasures in the Resident Evil 4 remake, completing the Raider challenge and unlocking the Raider achievement as well.
