S-Tier Artifacts

Almighty Kargalgan’s Armor Set

It’s no secret that the path to victory against any and all enemies in Solo Leveling: ARISE is set in the ultimate damage and cooldown times reduction. The Almighty Kargalgan’s artifact set does exactly that, which is why I consider it the best one in the game. If you manage to obtain all four pieces and equip them on your character, then your ultimate skill cooldown will be reduced by 40%. This effectively almost doubles your ability to crush your enemies with the ultimate damage.

If you can’t get all the pieces for the Almighty Kargalgan’s armor set, then the next best choice would be the Hard Leather artifact set. This one is a bit easier to get, and as soon as you have it fully equipped, your critical damage will be increased by 32%. Note that you can combine pieces of these two armor sets for some nice bonuses to both of your ultimate damage and critical hits. But of course, if you want the full impact, then I’d take some time and grind for all their pieces.

Beast Jewelry Set

Jewelry artifact sets are just as important as armor sets, as they add a ton of extra bonuses to your skills. The Beast set, which consists of a necklace, earrings, a bracelet, and a ring, can effectively increase your attack by 160% when landing a critical hit. Note that the more pieces of this set you have, the higher the chance of getting this effect. That’s also one of the reasons why I’d equip the Skeleton jewelry alongside the Hard Leather armor for synergy.

A-Tier Artifacts

New Hunter’s Armor Set

Achieving the break effect in Solo Leveling: ARISE is mostly possible with the help of powerful weapons. But some armor, such as the New Hunter’s set, can also boost this effect. I discovered that it’s especially useful against enemies with elemental weaknesses, as in that case, the break effect increases by 30%. That’s why such characters as Seo Ji Woo and Emma Laurent would benefit the most from this artifact set.

Dragon Knight’s Armor Set

Critical and ultimate damage are both definitely very useful, but still, most of the time, you’ll be using your basic and core attacks to defeat normal enemies. For this purpose, the best artifact set would be the Dragon Knight’s armor. It increases all your basic and core attacks by 18%, and if you have all four pieces equipped, then your core gauge gets filled up much faster. I really can recommend this armor to any character at any stage of the game.

Skeleton Jewelry Set

When playing as a Dark element character, I really need something that would improve my damage when I’m low on health. Fortunately, there’s the Skeleton artifact set, which increases all damage by 15% if my HP drops below 50, and the damage is further increased by 30% if my HP drops below 70. This is really a perfect solution for any and all Dark weapon wielders out there.

B-Tier Artifacts

Black Lion’s Armor Set

This armor set can be useful against enemies with high defense stats. If you collect the full Black Lion’s set, your character will be able to ignore 15% of all enemy defenses. It may not seem much, but it can literally make or break the game for you. Of course, this set isn’t particularly useful in any other case, so that’s why I put it in the B-tier.

Holy Armor Set

The Holy artifact set can be really useful in the early stages of the game when your HP pool is still quite low. This set will increase your HP by 8% if you equip at least two pieces. But once you have the full set, it becomes very valuable for the supporters of the party, as it increases the attack of all teammates by 8%. The reason why I placed it so low in the tier list is that it also reduces the user’s attack by 8%.

Red-eyed Jewelry Set

Lastly, if you do decide to equip the Holy set, then be sure to accompany it with the Red-eyed jewelry, which compensates for the loss of attack power and increases your attacks by 20% when landing a critical hit. But note that this effect is possible only if you have all four pieces of jewelry. Otherwise, this effect is reduced only to 5%.

That’s it for my tier list of the best artifacts in Solo Leveling: ARISE. Stay tuned for more SLA tips and tricks articles right here.
