Spectre Divide Best SMGs, All Ranked

Demolish your competition in close quarters with the best SMGs.

In Spectre Divide, close-range fights are something common in each match. The game features several medium-sized maps with many close-quarter areas, so running SMGs is necessary when your team’s economy is running low, and you need a win to make a comeback. Luckily for players, the game offers plenty of SMGs, so learn the best SMGs in Spectre Divide ranked.

Spectre Divide – Which Is the Best SMG in the Game?

Fighting in close quarters is one of the most exciting experiences in Spectre Divide. The game offers enough weapon variety to keep players engaged, but there are definitely a few options that perform better than others, so get ready to learn which is the best SMG to run in your next matches.

3. Whisper

The Whisper is one of the SMGs in Specter Divide that will make you feel at home with its MP5-like aesthetics, silencer, and compact nature. The Whisper’s sights are good for their price and look perfect for the game’s aesthetics, but they can be awkward in medium ranges because of the ring around the dot. Here are Whisper’s stats:

  • Run speed: 5.04
  • Magazine: 25
  • Fire rate: 666 rpm
  • Reload time: 2.0 seconds
  • Hipfire range: 10.0 meters

The Whisper is not a bad SMG by any means, but its recoil, low magazine size, and rpm can make it a problem if you don’t know how to control your shots. If you see one on the ground while using a pistol, grab it, but don’t expect magic out of it.

2. M25 Hornet

The M25 Hornet is cheaper, easier to control, and fires faster than the Whisper SMG. Its price point may look deceiving, but I’ve had more success using the M25 Hornet than with the Whisper SMG. The M25 Hornet performs great at close ranges if you control its recoil and aim at the upper chest area. Here are some stats for the weapon:

  • Run speed: 4.75
  • Magazine: 25
  • Fire rate: 750 rpm
  • Reload time: 2.0 seconds
  • Hipfire range: 8.0 meters

Controlling your shots will be key to performing well with the M25 Hornet, as the weapon’s fire rate can make you waste lots of bullets if you don’t control its recoil. If you had trouble aiming down sights with the Whisper, don’t worry because the M25 Hornet’s sights are clearer.

1. Buzzsaw RT40

The Buzzsaw RT40 is just better than the other SMGs. The weapon has a 40-round magazine, a high fire rate, and a decent damage profile at medium ranges. Unfortunately, the Buzzsaw RT40 has a long reload time in comparison to other SMGs paired with a low-damage profile. Its fire rate compensates for this feature, so players shouldn’t be worried about dying to other SMGs. Here are Buzzsaw RT40’s stats:

  • Run speed: 4.75
  • Magazine: 40
  • Fire rate: 840 rpm
  • Reload time: 2..3 seconds
  • Hipfire range: 10.0 meters

Its damage profile may deter some players from choosing it, but the Buzzsaw RT40’s magazine size and fire rate make up for it very well.
