Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — How to Solve the Crypt of Uhrma Puzzle

Here's how to solve the Crypt of Uhrma door puzzle in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Crypt of Uhrma puzzle is just one of many barriers in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor keeping you from useful items and collectibles. You’ll want to solve the puzzle for the Stim upgrade inside, but it’s not obvious how to open the door when you first encounter it. Much like the mysterious Anchorites that have buried their dead in the tomb, this puzzle won’t give up its secrets easily. Here’s the solution.

How to Solve the Crypt of Uhrma Puzzle

You’ll find the Crypt of Uhrma puzzle in Pilgrim’s Path on Jedha, on the way to the Sanctuary Temple as part of the story. On the Blustery Mesa, you’ll reach an area in the cliffs with a tall elevator that you can’t yet operate. You’ll know the area by the dangling wind chimes.

Continue along, and go right into the area with the green light. Be wary of the dozen or so Hardshells and some exploders inside. I was almost overwhelmed by the sheer number on my first trip to the tomb, and the explorers can take off big chunks of Cal’s health.

Once you’ve defeated them, inspect the large wall in the back of the Crypt, at the end of the path you used to enter. There are eight raised blocks on the wall, four on the top and four on the bottom. You can use Force pull to pull them out of the wall and Force Push to push them back in. You’ll need to do so in a specific order to unlock the door.

The solution for the Crypt puzzle is actually further up the Mesa, past the song block, and after you meet Pili. You’ll find four columns sticking out of the ground to the right of the critical path. But there’s no need to seek those columns out. Here’s what to do.

Using Force Pull, pull out the blocks circled in the picture above, which I took of the Crypt door before solving the puzzle.

  • Pull the top left and top right blocks.
  • Pull two blocks in the middle on the bottom.

When you pull the correct blocks, the door will open. It will reveal an area beyond with a Stim upgrade and the Force Echo: Voices on the Wind. Grab those, and exit via the lower pathway. You’ll find a shortcut at the end and a Meditation Point.

If you’ve learned Precision Evade, you can go through the green forcefield at the end of the path (before the shortcut to the Meditation Point). Behind the waterfall, you’ll find Sutaban Alpha, a Legendary Enemy. I found this fight to be more taxing than some other Legendary Enemy battles because of the cramped cave and the range of the Sutaban, so be patient, evade, and attack in small bursts to survive. Defeat them for a Force Essence upgrade in their lair.

Whether you fight Sutaban now or later, that’s how to solve the Uhrma Crypt puzzle door in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. For more tips, tricks, and locations guides, head over to our Jedi Survivor guides hub.
