Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Bachelor Romance Guide

A romance and gift guide for the bachelors in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

You have to choose a marriage partner before the start of the second year in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, so here’s a guide for romancing the bachelors of the Forgotten Valley. Even though Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is a remake of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, there have been a few changes made to the bachelor options. Aside from the addition of a fourth bachelor, a couple of previous ones have been renamed.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Bachelors

  • There are four bachelors (Gordy, Gustafa, Matthew, and Rock).
  • You can romance them regardless of gender.

In SoS, romance and marriage are important, so if you don’t pick an option before the start of the second year, Takakura will come and make you select a bachelor or bachelorette to marry.

With the short seasons, it doesn’t take long to earn hearts with your romance option. It also helps that you can give multiple gifts per day as long as they aren’t the same item.

Gordy (Cody in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life)

Gordy is the quiet artist in the Forgotten Valley who makes sculptures out of metal. He lives in the trailer that’s between the Bluebird Cafe and the beach, and he doesn’t like it if you talk to him too much. I actually lost the only heart I had with him by talking during an event instead of staying silent. You’ll usually find him in or around his trailer, by the nearby pond, or by the beach.

Gustafa

Gustafa is laid-back and spends his days playing his guitar and working on writing a song. And if he’s playing his guitar, you’ll have to wait before giving him a gift because he won’t accept it at that time. You’ll usually find him around his house or sitting under a tree by the Lei-Over Inn.

Matthew (Marlin in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life)

Matthew is Vesta’s younger brother, and he isn’t great at socializing. As a result, he appears to be rude or cold even when he doesn’t intend to. In the end, he’s just a shy man that you’ll usually find on Vesta’s farm or at the Bluebird Cafe.

Rock

Rock lives at the Lei-Over Inn, which is owned by his parents, and he has a lot of confidence in himself despite not being willing to do much. He openly says that he prefers to do nothing, and he’s certain that your life is better with him if you choose him for marriage. You’ll usually find him at the inn or around the water sources (beach, pond, and river) in the Forgotten Valley.
