Sword of Convallaria Best Team Compositions

Here are some of the best team compositions in Sword of Convallaria!

Sword of Convallaria allows players to build teams made up of four to six units. Note that sometimes a smaller and tighter team can be more effective than a spread-out one, but for the purposes of this guide, I’ll provide you with the best team compositions in Sword of Convallaria using the maximum number of units.

Best Team Compositions for Sword of Convallaria

Before we get into the ins and outs of each team composition, I need to mention that any team you create must synergize in one way or another. For example, there are five classes of units in Sword of Convallaria that offer specific skills that can be utilized efficiently only if they’re supported by other units in your team.

Beryl’s Destroyers Team Composition

  • Beryl
  • Dantalion
  • Lilywill
  • Garcia
  • Rawiyah
  • Maitha

Destroyers are the most powerful units in Sword of Convallaria. The two best Destroyers in the game are Beryl and Dantalion. While Beryl is a fire magic DPS with powerful AoEs, Dantalion is perfect for taking out elite single targets with his Slash attacks. When combined, these two units can really push through any obstacle. Also note that both of them have the skills to heal themselves and their allies.

I also included Lilywill, who can help with the ranged attacks using her powerful bows. Place her in the back row and watch her finish off most of the targets from a distance. Rawiyah is something between Beryl and Dantalion, being able to deal physical damage, but in an AoE fashion. Although she’s not as strong as those two units, she can be of great help to any team. Lastly, you may or may not include tanks such as Maitha in your squad, but I think they can be useful nonetheless.

Gloria’s Watchers Team Composition

  • Gloria
  • Inanna
  • Momo
  • Garcia
  • Iggy
  • Nergal

Watchers are the ultimate supporters with solid damage in Sword of Convallaria. If you choose to level up their right skill tree, then you can put them on the same tier as Destroyers when it comes to damage. But I prefer to mix the two skill trees, left and right, to keep pumping that damage and heal everyone when needed. For this reason, try to get Gloria’s Fair Duel skill for DPS and Inanna’s Flight of the Princess for maximum healing effect.

As always, you’ll need some ranged support with magic abilities, such as Momo. But such units as Garcia and Iggy are just as important, since they synergize with the buff spells of your Watcher units. If you really wish to make your enemies feel the power of your buffs, then be sure to also include Nergal with his massive AoE attack, Zero Distance.

Col’s Seekers Team Composition

  • Col
  • Nonowill
  • Nungal
  • Faycal
  • Leonide
  • Teadon

Here’s one of the most complex team compositions in the game, but once mastered, it can provide immense results. The entire theme here is using Col’s Shadowless ability, which allows you to teleport behind enemies and assassinate them with a single strike. It’s not as easily done, especially in the later stages of the game, but it’s very efficient. In the early game, you won’t be able to use it at first, but that’s where you can use Shadow Step to steal enemy points.

With this kind of strategy, you’ll need more than one ranged DPS. That’s why I included here both Nungal and Faycal, with their crossbow and longbow, respectively. Actually, you don’t even need to engage in direct combat at all and use your tanks, such as Teadon and Leonide, to push enemies back. Then, simply utilize your rangers and Col’s shadow abilities to remove all enemies from the battlefield.

Magnus’ Defenders Team Composition

  • Magnus
  • Alexei
  • Guzman
  • Samantha
  • Garcia
  • Xavier

The final team composition in our guide is built around two of the most powerful tanks in the game: Magnus and Alexei. The main reason why such a concept exists in the first place is the ability of tanks to counterattack, which doubles the damage. In this case, it’s important to let enemies attack first, so you could use such skills as Sharp Blade and Counterattack Storm to trigger this buffed damage on your side.

One of the most interesting additions to this team is Guzman, an undead warrior with the Life Drain ability. Of course, you can use standard healers like Samantha, but in this case, you also remove HP from your enemies. Lastly, you can add Xavier to this list for his unmatched charged attacks that effectively double all of his damage. As I said, this may not be a conventional build with defenders in the front row, but it’s definitely fun.

That’s it for my list of the best team compositions in Sword of Convallaria. Stay tuned for more SoC tips and tricks articles right here.
