Mage class in Tarisland has two main specializations: Flame and Frost. They’re very similar in approach but use different elemental powers. In this guide, I’ll provide you with a list of the best Mage abilities and ultimates in Tarisland, including tips for both types of builds.

Tarisland: How to Play as Flame Mage

Mages are masters of AoE spells, but Flame Mage is more damage-driven than the Frost Mage. If you combine the Searing Sting with the Flame Boost, you’ll get the maximum damage possible with this build on a single target, such as a boss or an elite enemy. But Flame Mage can just as easily deal with groups of enemies with the help of such skills as Blazing Orb and Thermal Bomb.

Best Flame Mage Abilities in Tarisland

The following list of skills is designed specifically to inflict as much damage as possible:

Blazing Orb	Generates an orb that explodes after 2.5 sec, dealing 101% Magic DMG of your ATK +130.
Fireball	Deals 86% Magic DMG of your ATK +113.
Flame Boost	Boosts your Crit Rate by 8%, Crit DMG by 10% and ATK by 10.
Searing Sting	Deals 101% Magic DMG of your ATK +130 and applies 20% Crit Rate.
Thermal Bomb	Inflicts 5.5% Magic DMG of your ATK +43 on the target every second.

Best Flame Mage Ultimates in Tarisland

Here, I chose spells that will protect your character, reducing most of the incoming damage:

Ultimates	Effects
Flame Shock	Launches a flame wave that makes enemies Knockback within 4m.
Pyro Shield	Negates 20% DMG of your max HP.
Body of Flame	Reduces the DMG you take by 80%.
Dimensional Move	Teleport to the any direction within 16m radius.

Tarisland: How to Play as Frost Mage

While Flame Mage is all about offense, I’d use Frost Mage for control purposes. It has a few solid DPS spells under its sleeve, such as Ice Spikeweed and Icicle Storm, for single-target and AoE purposes, respectively. But its main specialty is focused on the elemental summons, such as Snowstorm and Water Spirit, which are perfect for controlling the environment.

Best Frost Mage Abilities in Tarisland

Use these skills to either deal single-target damage or scare a whole group of enemies away:

Ice Spikeweed	Deals 53% Magic DMG of your ATK +69.
Icicle Storm	Deals 100% Magic DMG of your ATK +130.
Snowstorm	Summons a Snowstorm, dealing 35% Magic DMG of your ATK +49 and imposes a Crisp effect.
Water Bomb	Deals 46% Magic DMG of your ATK +60 and grants you Water Energy.
Water Spirit	Summons a Water Spirit, dealing 4% Magic DMG of your ATK +298 to the target.

Best Frost Mage Ultimates in Tarisland

Frost Mage also has a number of defensive spells, just like Flame Mage, but I also added some spell disruption to the mix:

Ice Shield	Negates 20% DMG of your max HP.
Ice Shock	Launches an ice wave that makes enemies Knockback within 4m.
Ice Skin	Reduces the DMG you take by 80%.
Spell Disruption	Interrupts target’s spellcasting.
