The latest entry to Bandai Namco’s long-running fighting game series is the most graphically impressive yet thanks to adopting Unreal Engine 5. If you’re not sure if your computer can run it, here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for Tekken 8 on PC.
Tekken 8 Minimum and Recommended System Requirements
Large and small studios alike are turning to Unreal Engine 5, which is more system intensive than its predecessor and packed with some amazing lighting tech. Luckily, the Tekken 8 specs on PC aren’t too crazy despite the engine upgrade.
If you’re unsure about how your PC will perform with the game, I highly recommend downloading the demo on Steam to see how it runs.
Tekken 8 Minimum Requirements and PC Specs
- Operating System: Windows 10.
- CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600.
- RAM: 6 GB.
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or AMD Radeon R9 380X.
- Storage Space: 100 GB.
These are some fairly low specs for a brand-new game in 2024. If you game on PC often, chances are you have a GPU newer than a 1050Ti by now. The 100 GB requirement is the real heavy load in Tekken 8‘s specs. That’s a lot of space to dedicate to a fighting game, but Mortal Kombat 1 requires the same amount of drive space.
Tekken 8 Recommended Requirements and PC Specs
- Operating System: Windows 10.
- CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600.
- RAM: 16 GB.
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 4700 XT.
- Storage Space: 100 GB.
Even the recommended specs for Tekken 8 are more on the reasonable end for most PC gamers. Most modern gaming computers should be able to run the game at minimum or recommended specs, even if they’re a few years old.
Those are the current Tekken 8 system requirements and specs. With the game coming out on January 25, we won’t have to wait much longer to see how it performs on most systems. But again, you can check out the demo on Steam to get a better idea.
