Our Burn build for Once Human is perfect for any PvE-related content you will be completing. With this build, you’ll burn through anything the game throws at you with little issue. In addition, it is easy to build early on and can rely simply on farming the required items for it instead of spending valuable Starchrom on it if you don’t want to.

Here is the best Burn build in Once Human:

  • Deviant – Pyro Dino: This is the only Deviant you’ll want to use with this build due to its autonomous attack, which increases Blaze DMG on the enemy it is attacking while causing an explosion already affected by Burn. You have a slight percent chance to capture it from the Securement Silo Phi secret bedroom level.
  • KAM – Crank: The KAM – Crank was chosen over other burn weapons like the Boom! Boom! because of its weapon features and ability to unlock via weapon blueprints from Mystical Crates in the Red Sands region.
    • Weapon Mod – Flame Resonance: You get more burn stacks with a slight decrease in duration, but it is worth it due to the damage increase.
  • Heavy Duty Set- Top, Pants, and Shoes: You’ll want to utilize three pieces of this set to help further boost your Burn damage through an increase in Elemental damage. You can find the blueprints for the Heavy Duty set in Mystical Crates in the Chalky Peak region.
    • Heavy Duty Top Mod – Weakspot Dmg Boost: This Mod affects your secondary weapon like a sniper. Feel free to experiment with this Mod as you see fit.
    • Heavy Duty Pants Mod – Three Strikes: Increases the damage of the first three hits after reloading. While this may seem insignificant, it’ll help increase your weak spot damage by a surprising amount.
    • Heavy Duty Shoe Mod – Slow and Steady – Precision: This Mod provides extra damage based on keeping your health level above 90%.
  • The Scout Set – Mask and Hood: The Mask and Hood pieces will increase your health percentage and weapon DMG. You can farm the Scout Set blueprints from Mystical Crates in the Broken Delta region.
    • Scout Mask Mod – Blaze Amplifier: The Blaze Amplifier mod helps increase the damage to your burn stacks due to the increase in Psi intensity.
    • Scout Hood Mod – Deviation Expert: This Mod helps increase your damage against deviants.
  • BBQ Gloves: You will increase the frequency of your Burn stacks to 100%, increasing damage. The three stacks for Heavy Duty will help improve the burn damage with mobs and when killing adds during boss fights. You can find BBQ Gloves from Mystical crates in the Iron River region.
    • BBQ/ Grill Glove Mod – Elemental Overload: Helps increase the damage of your burns.
  • Cradle: These are the essential cradle perks for this Burn build in PvE. While it is acceptable in PvP, you’ll want to swap a few perks out if you decide to go up against other Metas:
    • Automatic Weapon Enhancement: Provides 20% damage to your primary weapon.
    • Master Tactician: When facing bosses, you can throw a Molotov to help increase your damage against them by 15%.
    • Deviation Master: You’ll receive increased DMG when your Deviation is fighting alongside you which is perfect for the Pyro Dino, since we want the benefits from his autonomous attack anyways.
    • Rapid Aid: This Cradle perk will provide you with some survivability due to lowering the cooldown of healing items and increasing their effectiveness.
    • Tactical Combo: You’ll get an increase in Weapon DMG for a small period after reloading.
    • Status Enhancement: This does a great job of increasing the damage from your burn stacks.
    • Sustained Suppression: This is a great perk to get if you are killing mods, as your damage will continue to grow up to the stack limit.
    • Prairie Fire Inferno: Another great perk if you are killing mobs as your Blaze damage will increase based on every nearby unit that is affected by Burn.
