Bunny has quickly become The First Descendant’s poster child, and for good reason. She’s an amazingly versatile Descendant and currently the best character in The First Descendant. If you’re struggling to grasp her playstyle, here’s how she works.
Best Bunny Build
Bunny’s Abilities
The crux of Bunnie’s capabilities lies in her abilities. Let’s look at what they are and how you should use them.
- Rabbit Foot (Passive) – Bunny accumulates electrical energy while running, which she releases upon landing a double jump.
- Thrill Bomb (1st Ability) – Bunny summons a ball of electricity to target a random enemy in her vicinity.
- Light Speeding (2nd Ability) – Increases Bunny’s top speed and electricity accumulation.
- Lightning Emission (3rd Ability) – Creates a ring of electricity around Bunny that pulsates periodically, electrocuting enemies near Bunny and applying the Electrocute effect.
- Maximum Power (Ultimate Ability) – Bunny shoots out a beam of lightning from her hands toward a single target, the damage increasing the longer you hold down the beam.
Optimal Bunny Loadout
To get the most out of Bunny, you’re going to want to use weapons that excel at close range. Hand cannons, shotguns, and SMGs are the types of weapons you should go for when using Bunny. Of these, the Thunder Cage, which is currently one of the best weapons in The First Descendant, benefits Bunny the most on account of its special effect, which causes enemies to explode in a ball of electricity.
Choosing the correct modules is likewise important. For Bunny, the best modules are the following:
- Nimble Fingers – Decreases her cooldowns, allowing Bunny to spam her abilities more frequently.
- Electric Master – Increases the amount of electric damage Bunny does with her abilities.
- Electric Specialist – Adds the Electric Skill Power Boost Ration, further enhancing her abilities.
When it comes to reactors and external components, there’s a bit of leeway for personalization. Generally, the best reactor for Bunny will always be Tingling Mixture because it boosts her electrical capabilities. Other than that, you’re free to choose whatever you think feels right for you. Players usually use these slots to boost her survivability, but if you want to, a glass cannon build can be just as effective.
Tips for Playing Bunny
With Bunny, speed is the name of the game. If you’re standing in space or at the back, you’re playing Bunny wrong. Instead, here are some useful tips for what to do.
- Get around large enemies and use your ultimate on their weak spots.
- Run between covers to charge your electricity, then double-jump into the middle of the enemy with your 3rd active ability.
- Move around with your 2nd ability as much as possible. If your 2nd ability is available and you aren’t using it, you’re losing out on precious charge.
- Use your 1st ability from behind cover to take out enemies.
- Focus on taking out enemy types that are hard for the rest of your teammates to take out (snipers, fast movers, etc…).
