A lot of The Sims 4 players are running into the bug where their sims simply will not let go of certain items. It’s nice to think they’re just getting really attached to mundane household staples, but the reality is this is a bug and it’s something you can fix on the fly.

There are a few ways you may be able to fix this bug. You could:

  • Click on the offending item and add it to the sim’s inventory
  • Change your sim’s outfit using a dresser
  • Travel to another lot

The easiest of these fixes is simply to click and add to inventory, but you may like pretending your sims have an unnatural attraction to books. I mean, everyone’s got something they’re really into, right?

Good luck, have fun, and I hope one of these solutions works for you!
