Throne and Liberty: Best Builds Guide

Here are some of the best builds in Throne and Liberty!

There are seven weapon classes in Throne and Liberty. But the finest builds are always the ones that combine their skills and stats. In this guide, I’ll show you some of the best builds in Throne and Liberty, combining different weapon classes and strategies to make the most out of each one.

Best Builds List for Throne and Liberty

Sword and Shield Tank Build

When picking gear and weapons for the tank build in Throne and Liberty, it’s important to invest your stat points into Strength and Perception, as you’ll be dealing with some heavy armor, swords, and shields.

Best Tank Weapons

  • Purgatory’s Lethal Claw
  • Magna Duke’s Taunting Blade

This tanky build is based on Sword and Shield and Greatsword masteries. That’s why I picked Purgatory’s Lethal Claw for its immense damage (134), and the Purgatorial Barrier ability, which increases all incoming heals by 30%. The Magna Duke’s Taunting Blade is here because of its Taunt ability, although it’s not as powerful as Purgatory’s Lethal Claw, which is the strongest sword in the game.

Best Tank Armor

  • Holy Ghost Fighter Set

The main reason why I chose this armor set for the tank build is its ability to increase your Endurance stat by 150 points. This will help you withstand many powerful attacks and be able to respond with even more damage. On top of that, the Holy Ghost Fighter armor set reduces all incoming damage by 20 points and increases the duration of all your buffs by 10%.

Best Tank Jewelry

  • Absolute Bulwark Necklace
  • Eternal Ring of Dimension
  • Transcendent Magic Ring

The current roster of jewelry for the tanky build consists of magic defense items that also improve your stamina quite a bit. The necklace will grant you a whole roster of resistances, including bind, collision, sleep, and stun. The rings will add a point to each of your stats. Of course, you can experiment with other jewelry in the game, but this set has proven to work really well for the build.

Longbow Ranged DPS Build

There’s really no point in investing in your strength for the ranged build, so I’d definitely put all my stat points into Dexterity and Perception.

Best Ranged Weapons

  • Tevent’s Screaming Bow
  • Kowazan’s Twilight Blade

The weapon of choice for this build may not be the fastest longbow in the game, but it definitely hits the hardest. I also like its Tevent’s Bombardment skill, which allows you to shoot an extra projectile for another 54% of your base damage. As for your secondary weapon, there’s nothing better than a pair of Kowazan’s daggers. This deadly couple deals an extra 250 critical hit points at night.

Best Ranged Armor

  • Special Resistance Ancient Dragon Armor

When playing as a ranged character with a bow, I need to focus on my mana as much as on my dexterity. The Ancient Dragon armor would be the best choice for this build exactly for those two reasons. It adds an extra 600 points to your mana pool and a couple of extra points to your Dexterity stat.

Best Ranged Jewelry

  • Slaughterer’s Collar
  • Barbarian’s Stone Ring
  • Deadeye Band

The jewelry for this build mainly focuses on keeping you alive, adding as many points to your HP pool as possible. In addition, you get extra melee evasion points, health regeneration, and attack speed. If you feel that you need even more mana, then opt for the Indomitable Ring of Dimension instead of the Deadeye Band.

Daggers and Greatsword Melee DPS Build

If you pick daggers as your main weapons, then you could also go with a Dexterity-based melee DPS build, which includes a greatsword. In this case, be sure to distribute your points between Dexterity and Perception in equal measure.

Best Melee DPS Weapons

  • Lequirus’s Thorny Edge
  • Magnaduke’s Berserk Blade

Lequirus’s Thorny Edge daggers don’t have the highest base damage in the game, but they have one of the best critical hit rates and increased mobility, which also adds up a lot to the overall damage. With the support of such a heavy weapon as Magnaduke’s Berserk Blade, you’ll also be able to stun and shock enemies that are bigger in size.

Best Melee DPS Armor

  • Ghost Wolf Set

The Ghost Wolf armor is perfect for this build, as it not only increases your max HP but also your base damage. Most importantly, if you equip this whole set, then your off-hand weapon attack chance will increase by another 30%. That’s a huge plus for the daggers build, which also carries a greatsword for unexpectedly heavy blows.

Best Melee DPS Jewelry

  • Destroyer’s Choker
  • Unshakeable Gold Ring
  • Abyssal Crystal Ring

Your jewelry will be crucial for increasing your critical hits, stun chance, mana pool, and speed of attacks. The Destroyer’s Choker will also make sure that you have enough HP to go through more difficult parts of the game.

Wand and Tome Support Build

There are different types of support builds in Throne and Liberty, but I decided to create a hybrid build that’s also a healer. I believe that combining Wand and Tome with the Staff weapon can be extremely effective, especially if you invest your points in Wisdom, Perception, and Dexterity stats.

Best Support Weapons

  • Lequirus’s Grip
  • Toublek’s Thunderous Soul

Your main weapon is mostly focused on increasing your Wisdom and Perception for casting various spells, as well as helping you survive by cloaking your character when HP drops below 20%. If you need to deal that extra damage, then use the Toublek’s Thunderous Soul staff, which increases all your ranged, melee, and magical critical hits by 30 points.

Best Support Armor

  • Transcended One Set

A hybrid build like this one requires a special kind of protection. My personal favorite for this type of build is the Transcended One armor, which reduces all of your cooldown times by 7.5% and increases all of your healing skills by 25%. It’s a perfect set for spamming tons of offensive spells, as well as increasing the overall power of your healing magic.

Best Support Jewelry

  • Holy Warrior’s Choker
  • Insightful Ring of Dimension
  • Lethal Frost Ring

The most important piece of jewelry here is the Holy Warrior’s Choker necklace. It covers all bases, including cooldown reductions, mana cost efficiency, mana regeneration, and HP increases. The other two rings will boost your stats, helping you cast your spells more efficiently. In this case, Insightful Ring of Dimension will add more points to your Perception and Wisdom, while Lethal Frost Ring will increase your Dexterity for more effective staff wielding.
