Top 10 Worst Valorant Crosshairs

Here's our list of the Top 10 worst custom crosshairs to use in Valorant.

The custom crosshair feature in Valorant is a great tool that lets you craft and share your best aiming reticles. While this means there are a lot of great creations out there, there are also a ton of outrageous and wacky reticles that might not help when playing competitively — or at all. Here’s our selection of the Top 10 worst Valorant crosshairs.

Top 10 Worst Valorant Crosshairs

This list of Top 10 worst Valorant crosshairs is entirely made up of examples from the popular Valorant Crosshair Database, which showcases a huge variety of crosshairs and provides the codes to import them as well. Some are from their most popular list, while others come from user submissions.

I want to clarify that being on this worst list doesn’t mean that each crosshair itself is terrible. In fact, many of them are actually wildly inventive and entertaining. Feel free to use them against friends or to rub salt in the wound of anyone who loses to crosshairs like these. When it comes to more serious/ranked play, though, you might be putting yourself at a disadvantage by going with any of these.

I’ve outlined our picks below for the Top 10 worst Valorant crosshairs, along with the codes needed to import the settings into your game.

Worst Crosshair 10: Steve

Crosshair Code: 0;P;c;5;t;2;o;1;0t;6;0l;4;0v;3;0g;1;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1t;6;1v;6;1g;1;1o;5;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

Minecraft fans will especially enjoy this Steve crosshair that looks like the player character wearing Diamond Armor. Spray long enough with a weapon, and the top part will fade, creating a much more recognizable shape. It takes up a bit too much space to have any decent utility in a proper match, though.

Worst Crosshair 9: Xbox

Crosshair Code: 0;P;c;1;h;0;f;0;m;1;0t;3;0l;3;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1t;6;1l;1;1o;4;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

Although Riot Games has brought some of their titles to the Xbox Game Pass service, including Valorant, we don’t know when or if the FPS will ever come to their set of consoles. Until that happens, you can show some sense of Xbox pride by using this Xbox crosshair. It’s actually one of the better ones to use on this list, and its size helps, although the logo’s slight curve might throw off your perception a tiny bit.

Worst Crosshair 8: Pause

Crosshair Code: 0;s;1;P;o;1;m;1;0l;0;0v;0;0g;1;0o;20;0a;0;0f;0;1t;10;1l;4;1v;0;1g;1;1o;3;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

There’s no better way to get your opponents to stop than to use a Pause reticle. This is simple enough that it doesn’t stand out too much from a typical crosshair, and it’s admittedly satisfying to shoot at someone with their head in between the lines. Most typical crosshairs remain more efficient, though.

Worst Crosshair 7: Cat

Crosshair Code: 0;P;c;8;h;0;d;1;b;1;z;3;f;0;m;1;0t;10;0l;0;0v;3;0g;1;0o;1;0a;1;0f;0;1t;9;1v;0;1g;1;1o;3;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

Add some style to your game by using this Cat crosshair. Aim at an enemy that’s far enough away, and you can even make it look like they have a cat head. This is a popular design that’s been remade a ton, and it’s thankfully not too obtrusive.

Worst Crosshair 6: Amongus

Crosshair Code: 0;P;c;5;t;3;o;1;f;0;m;1;0t;4;0l;5;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1t;8;1l;3;1o;0;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

We can already agree that the enemy team is pretty sus, so you might as well mark them correctly with this Amongus crosshair. The Among Us memes aren’t enough to keep it off of our list of the 10 worst crosshairs in Valorant, though, since this is essentially a black box in the middle of your screen.

Worst Crosshair 5: 4x Better

Crosshair Code: 0;P;c;5;o;0;0l;11;0o;18;0a;1;0f;0;1t;10;1l;3;1o;22;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

A single reticle is nothing compared to four of them. That’s the idea behind 4x Better, which provides four surrounding crosshairs in one. They’re actually spaced evenly enough to account for some spread, but potentially too far apart to properly aim in the heat of battle.

Worst Crosshair 4: Burger

Crosshair Code: 0;P;t;2;o;1;d;1;f;0;0t;10;0l;3;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0

For the absolute biggest hamburger fans who want to represent their favorite food, even at the cost of efficiency, the Burger crosshair is just what you need. May it also serve as a reminder for you and your opponents to take some breaks when the hunger sets in. Otherwise, it’s not a great reticle.

Worst Crosshair 3: Degenerate

Crosshair Code: 0;s;1;P;c;7;t;2;o;1;0t;10;0l;20;0o;1;0a;0;0f;0;1l;10;1o;40;1a;0.484;1m;0;1f;0

I’m not sure if this one could be named any better. Degenerate looks like three crosshairs compiled together into one. It takes up quite a lot of screen space, and the middle parts of it are black, which doesn’t stand out well against most backdrops.

Worst Crosshair 2: Cursor

Screenshot by GameSkinny

Crosshair Code: 0;P;h;0;d;1;z;5;0b;0;1t;6;1l;1;1o;1;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

This one might just be the most infuriating choice on our list of the Top 10 worst Valorant crosshairs. Quite simply, it replaces your reticle with a small pudgy Cursor. Good luck trying to get any kills when you keep trying (and failing) to move the cursor off the screen. Making things worse is that while it’s centered on the screen, its little pointer end is slightly curved to the left and will make you think every shot is off-center when it’s not.

Worst Crosshair 1 Windmill

Screenshot by GameSkinny

Crosshair Code: 0;P;c;1;t;6;o;1;d;1;z;6;a;0;f;0;m;1;0t;10;0l;20;0o;20;0a;1;0m;1;0e;0.1;1t;10;1l;10;1o;40;1a;1;1m;0

Windmill is one of the most popular crosshairs you’ll see and is also one of the most egregious. Not only does it take up a bunch of space already and steadily increase when firing, but it expands even further when you jump. Don’t use this one unless you’re actively trying to shame anyone who gets eliminated by you.
