While the 1.20.1 update for Minecraft‘s Trails and Tales update focused on fixing some major bugs in the official release, the new 1.20.2 version added a few important features. Here, I’ll provide you with a lot of villages in our selection of the top 20 Minecraft seeds.

Having a double island village at spawn is always nice, especially when one of them has a blacksmith. Although this seed isn’t perfect (as one of the villages is abandoned), it’s easy to fix by setting up a line of torches to keep the zombies away from the normal villagers.

Imagine spawning in a zombie village on the bottom of a cavern filled with lava. Well, that kind of scenario is completely real if you find the courage to load this seed. Fortunately, there’s an opening in the cavern right above the village. I’d suggest using gravel blocks to climb out of the cave, or you could stay and see if you can survive down there. Either way, this seed is super unique!

You’ll spawn on an ocean shore to the west of a tiny island with a small village and a giant woodland mansion standing next to each other at coordinates X: 128 Z: 176. You can easily get there by boat, but if it seems a bit too extreme for you, then opt for a nice village on the lakeshore at coordinates X: -784 Z: -160.

Everybody likes to start a survival Minecraft game in a village. But how about an entire city? This seed spawns you next to three large villages standing together at coordinates X: -416 Z: 96. All together, you’ll find around 40 buildings and a blacksmith. It’s not a bad start for a survival game!

What if zombie villagers lived in the most beautiful biome in Minecraft? Try this seed, and you’ll spawn on the edge of the cherry grove, which surrounds an abandoned village. If you load this seed in the Bedrock Edition, then you’ll get the same biomes, but instead of the village, you’ll find an exposed ruined portal. It’s up to you which one you like the best!

If you prefer a normal village at spawn but in extreme conditions, then this seed is similar to the previous one but with a slight tweak. Here, you will find a nice little village surrounded by mountains and another one outside the ring at coordinates X: 16 Z: -256. There’s also an ancient city underneath at coordinates X: -136 Y: -51 Z: 200.

Once in a while, I manage to find a boat house in an island village. This one also happens to be near spawn at coordinates X: -144 Z: 96, and you can tell that both structures of the shipwreck and the village hut have merged quite elegantly.

Finding a double dungeon in Minecraft is almost impossible. But in this rare seed, you’ll find a triple dungeon, which is basically a double dungeon with another one on top. You can dig into this rare anomaly at coordinates X: -1808 Y: 40 Z: -1626.

Spawn between two plains villages, one of which is embraced by a small patch of cherry blossom trees. I highly recommend traveling to coordinates X: 784 Z: -304, where you’ll see another village with trail ruins right underneath it at exact coordinates X: 728 Z: -312.

If you don’t want to start in the village, then here’s a cool combo at spawn that consists of a pillager outpost, a shipwreck, and an exposed ruined portal. You can free an iron golem from one of the cages and watch him obliterate all the pillagers.

Are you a fan of mountain survival? Here’s a fantastic spot for anyone who wants to start the base at the foot of the snowy hill with a village and an exposed ruined portal. I was happy to find a snow village, an igloo with a basement, and trail ruins at coordinates X: 576 Z: -448.

- Biomes: Desert, Ocean
That desert island village can easily save your life once you spawn at the doors of the pillager outpost. Once you reach the village, keep swimming in the eastern direction until you reach an ocean monument at coordinates X: 728 Z: 344.

Spawn on a big, beautiful island with savanna, plains, and mangrove swamp biomes, as well as a village and some floating islands on top of it. This serene place is surrounded by mushroom islands and the closest ocean monument that I could find stands at coordinates X: -200 Z: -296.

Trail ruins can be full of valuable loot, but finding them is hard since they tend to spawn deep underground. In this seed, you can find surface trail ruins that float on top of the lake at coordinates X: -376 Z: 24. Additionally, there’s an exposed amethyst geode on the bottom of the lake.

To the south of spawn, you can spot a village in the valley of the cherry blossom trees at coordinates X: 128 Z: 320. If you go eastward, then at coordinates X: 624 Z: 80, you’ll encounter a village standing next to a woodland mansion. I’d check out both of these sites!

- Biomes: Cold Ocean, Frozen Peaks
Now that’s what I call hardcore survival! There’s nothing in here except ice, stone, and water. The only present structure is an ominous pillager outpost overseeing an entire area at coordinates X: 0 Z: 80. Your only chance of survival is conquering that watchtower, but beware, it’s going to be tough.

If you want something a little less dangerous but with easy access to mining, then spawn next to a village that stands on an exposed ravine at coordinates X: 112 Z: 208. If your digging is going to be careful enough, then you may encounter trail ruins at coordinates X: -392 Z: 88.

There are several benefits to settling in the cliffside village at spawn. One of them is easy access to the sea, and another one is a mining shortcut that allows you to dig straight into the mountainside. Be sure to do so, as there’s an ancient city under the village at coordinates X: 8 Y: -51 Z: 120.

Surprisingly, there are two woodland mansions in the spawn area of this seed. One of them is located at coordinates X: -568 Z: -424, and it’s practically buried in the mountain. The other one can be seen at coordinates X: -904 Z: 632 near the river.

There’s nothing better than to spawn in a lush area with a variety of biomes and a couple of small and cozy villages. This seed has it all, with the cherry grove and an ancient city at coordinates X: -216 Y: -51 Z: 168.
