Trials Frontier guide to helping you master tricks, get coins and more!

Trials Frontier is one of the top games in the app store since it’s big recent update. Trials Frontier is a bike racing game where you race to the finish line of a given course and complete challenges by doing tricks.

Although it’s not new to the store, its recent jump in popularity might have some of you wondering how you can get that score up or crossing the finish line faster. Here are some tips to do just that!

Leaning

The leaning in this game is pretty daunting when you first play, especially if you are new to Trials all together. You use leaning to do tricks or even to just stay on the tracks. Leaning too much in either direction, forwards or backwards, can cause you to crash and end your high score runs.

You want to lean backwards when you are jumping or going down a hill while leaning forward helps get your bike up a hill or to land at just the right angle.

In this situation you would want to tap the lean forward button!

The thing to remember is that the buttons are sensitive! I suggest just lightly tapping your screen so as not to keep your finger there for too long. Tapping will greatly help you to gain control of your bike and help you to achieve those backflips.

Tricks

Doing tricks, like backflips and frontflips, are the key to some of the challenges and raking in a ton of coins. In order to level up faster try combining the flips in one jump and it will grant you a bonus.

Follow through on your flips! Try not to hesitate.

Also since you’ll be earning more coins, you’ll be able to upgrade your bikes a lot faster–which will add even more to your score!

Restart the Mission from the Beginning

When you are learning to control your bike, especially at the early stages, you should restart the mission from the beginning. In order to do this tap and hold the restart button so you don’t use up your valuable gas. The gas comes in handy down the road when you have longer levels so saving it is always the best option.

Earn More Coins

Replaying some of the early tracks with your upgraded bike actually helps earn you coins for those levels you just can’t seem to get through. It’s an effective way to earn more upgrades as well.

Upgrade Wisely

By this I mean, once you go to upgrade your gas tank make sure it’s not full. Every time you upgrade you get a free tank of gas as well, so when you’re running low is the perfect time to upgrade.

Also saving parts throughout your journey will help you to upgrade cheaper further along in the game. You can always replay the levels to accumulate more parts.

Collect Blueprints

Collecting blueprints helps you to get new bikes, in fact it’s the only way you can get them so complete missions from the girl in the leather jacket and aviator glasses. She gives you blueprints every time you do tricks for her on specific levels.
