Where Is the Alpine in LEGO Fortnite? (& How to Place/Destroy Pieces There)

Even though you may have the initial quests done and dusted for LEGO Fortnite, you can still complete other daily quests every day to earn some XP and level up. A few of these daily quests for sandbox mode require you to build and destroy items in the Alpine. Here’s where to find it.

How to Build, Place, or Destroy Pieces in The Alpine in LEGO Fortnite

There are two different daily sandbox quests that require you to be in the “Alpine” area: one to place or destroy pieces and the other to complete a build. The first step to completing either of them is to locate the Alpine. If you aren’t sure where to start looking, we have you covered.

To find the Alpine, you’ll want to head toward the snowy biome of the Frostlands. There, you can find the Alpine on the mountaintops where there are pine trees growing and deposits of Malachite. It can be anywhere in this general area, as long as you build on the mountains and near the pine trees.

By taking advantage of the flying, you can get there more quickly in sandbox mode. Double tap the jump button (A, X, or Spacebar) to begin flying, and use the sprint button (L-Stick in or Shift) to fly faster. Look for a flat, clear space for you to build on and you can get started.

How to Complete a Build in The Alpine

If your daily quest is to “complete a build,” you’re definitely going to want some space. For this quest, you need to complete a pre-fab building blueprint in the Builds tab.

Select any of the buildings from the Architecture list and place it on the ground to start building. It’s essential to be in a flat spot; otherwise, the foundation won’t be able to be placed (avoid starting near the edges of the mountain). Once the foundation is placed, interact with it to start putting all the following pieces on it. It will prompt you when the build is complete, and you’ll complete your challenge.

How to Place or Destroy Pieces in The Alpine

If your daily quest is to “place or destroy pieces,” you’ll want to stick to smaller build objects, like Building Parts, Furniture, or Decorations. It can be finicky when it comes to what counts and what doesn’t. If Building Parts don’t seem to count, use Furniture and Decorations.

Select them from the Build menu and place them anywhere on the ground in the Alpine area. Each piece you place will add up toward your goal number for the quest.

If you’d rather not place down a whole bunch of items, you can also choose to destroy pieces instead. This way, you can place down a few objects and then use a Pickaxe (or your bare hands) to break them down and still count toward your quest.

As long you are within the Frostlands Alpine area while you’re completing these steps, you’ll get these quests done and over with in no time. Thankfully, in Sandbox mode, you’ll have an endless supply of all materials, so you won’t need to collect anything. Quick and easy XP!
