Ants in Fallout 76 are irradiated versions of worker ants from before the Great War. You’ll need to find one and take a camera picture of it for a challenge during the Pioneer Scout’s Uncharted Lands event. However, they are tough to find as few guaranteed spawn locations exist. You’ll find it Southeast of Old Rag Lookout, Northeast of Slumber Mill Motel, and Northwest of South River Bridge fast travel points in the Skyline Valley Region of Appalachia. The locations below have a chance of spawning ants, so keep checking different places if you don’t find any ants at another specific location.

Here are quests and events where you can find Ants in Fallout 76:
- Arktos Pharma: Ants have an excellent chance to spawn during the Project Paradise event.
- Camp Adams: Lots of ants will spawn during the Campfire Tales event.
- Giant Teapot: You’ll encounter multiple ants while completing the Tea Time event.
- Nuka-World on Tour: Ants can appear during the Spin the Wheel event.
- RobCo Auto-Cache 001: Three ants will always spawn when completing The Elusive Crane quest.
- Watoga Underground: You’ll find four ants after completing the Thicker Than Water quest. Two ants are below the ramps that lead to garage B, and two are locked behind a door before you reach silo 3.
