LEGO Fortnite: How to Find Brutes for Brute Scales

Brute Scales are some of the rarest items in LEGO Fortnite, but they’re essential for upgrading your Crafting Bench and Charms. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find Brute locations for Scales, including an easy method for getting Brute Scales without fighting the Brutes themselves.

Where to Find Brute Locations for Scales in LEGO Frotnite

Brutes are extremely rare giant enemies, and they spawn randomly in each of the biomes, from the Grasslands to the Dry Valley. Here’s how I managed to find these creatures:

• If you spawn in the Grasslands, look for the shoreline. Brutes like to roam the area. I’ve also found some near the forests in the Grasslands by following the glowing fairies that sometimes lead you to loot llamas.
• You can also find them in the Dry Valley biome. The best place to look is in the Lava Caves, but you can also find them at oases as you explore.
• In general, check any caves and dungeons.
• Special Frost Brutes can be found only in the Frostlands biome.

Tips on How to Beat Brutes

Typically, we would need to fight and defeat Brutes to get their scales. These enemies are tough, and can be almost unbeatable even with the best weapons in LEGO Fortnite. The best tactics are to have ranged weapons to hit them from afar, kiting them around an area. Eventually, you’ll need to get close, so an Epic Sword will work well. Lastly, make sure you dodge as much as possible and stay patient throughout the fight.

How to Get Brute Scales Without Fighting Brutes

If you don’t want to fight these enormous enemies, then I suggest looking out for special white chests that can be found inside the Lava Caves. Usually, one of them will hold at least x1 Brute Scale, which is often enough to craft any item that requires it. But be sure to bring some Snowberry Milkshakes or the Cool-Headed Charm, should you already have a Scale, to keep the temperature down.
